Killer 7 with better audio mix and subtitles = day 1

It was so bad, people actually had to transcribe it. And thank God, because that game was not friendly towards people with hearing issues

Never did play FSR so this would be a good reason to get round to it.

I was at the event, it was really cool! At the very end, Suda mentioned how these days it was hard for people to play the game (because it's on old hardware). That was when he announced they were going to remaster it. He also joked about releasing it in at least 10 years, lol.
It was cool because it was just after Masafumi Takada had played the Handsome Men theme and the final credits track.

I guess the clues were there, considering the Let It Die collaboration, and the killer7 talk session at the event. But man... finally, my favourite game's getting an HD remaster~~~

Holy crap, I never thought I'd see another release of FSR.

I can't wait :P

I assume it'll be more like the PS2 version since it's "better", but I hope they use "Welcome to Lospass II" rather than the original version, or better yet just make a third version :P

Killer7 has to be one of the easiest remasters ever to develop for because there are almost no textures in that game lol.

I'm interested in going through FSR again. I didn't really appreciate it enough during my first and only playthrough of it when I played it on the DS.

That's good to hear. I guess Capcom finally let him do that since they own the IP.

I recently bought a copy of FSR so I think I will just leave it sealed and play other games while waiting for the remaster.

I had no doubt FSR will eventually get a remaster or remake but I always thought Capcom wouldn't allow a Killer 7 remaster

Brb looping Rave On for the rest of the day

Man, how crazy is it that Killer7 is getting a remaster over... fuck, how many other Capcom games from that era. I suppose that's why it's so important for a developer to be so persistent in this day and age, as it means the difference between getting a remaster and watching code gather dust.

Regarding killer 7, does Capcom own the IP ?
If so watch it being on everything but switch

Yeah, it's 100% Capcom's IP. And don't worry, I'm sure that despite the history of GHM on Nintendo systems that even if it does come to Switch, they'd find a way to fuck up the release somehow.

FSR is one of the worst games I've ever played. Killer7, for its part, is mediocre but, at least, doesn't make you scream in anger or frustration...

I can't wait to run all over an island again doing inane fetch quests and getting mocked by the quest givers themselves for wasting my time with video games. But this time in HD!

Killer7's gameplay sucked the year the original came out. So God knows how well that game has aged.

If it's released on PC with mouse controls nobody would care i imagine and can focus on the way too relevant political themes. This game's idea of the American elections has been overshadowed by how stupid reality has managed to get.

That's awesome. Seeing the HD renders of Killer7 in the Grasshopper artbook from a couple years back had me hoping for this. The game is going to look incredible.

This is like when Tarantino was saying that he wanted to do Kill Bill 3.
Thread title is misleading. It ain't happening, at least not soon.

Out of nowhere. I've not played either of them but have always wanted to, so I hope they endup coming to the West. Would love to expirence them both in HD.
Whatcabout No More Heroes though? That's what I really want.
It kind of got one on PS3/360 but from what I recall reactions were mixed. I'd be down for a Switch Collection of 1 and 2 though.

Did he mention both K7 and FSR?
