These takes never make a lick of sense.

"I wanted Bucky dead right then. Who cares if he was brainwashed?!"

Nigga, what? Lmfao

It's completely baffling. Like nothing wrong with understanding Tony's reaction, but the amount of people who think he should've killed Bucky is strange to me.

Captain Marvel is not going to come in cold to her own movie, so we're either getting her in a post-credits scene in IW or Ant-Man or maybe a bigger role in Ant-Man.

Maybe there's a post-credits scene where she's on Hala and the Kree are launching their ships to go to war with the Skrulls after Thanos balances the universe and she realizes something is wrong so she takes off to Earth.

Tony has a lot of fanboys/girls. Irrational even. Wonder how Tony and Bucky react to each other if they interact in IW or A4

Good luck with that after pulling out at the last second. Even if it really was just an unfortunate scheduling conflict, it still really hurts if not kills her chances of landing another MCU role anytime soon.

I genuinely doubt the folks at Marvel Studios are gonna hold this against her. It'd be stupid beyond belief, especially given they were obviously keen to work with her on this. It wasn't her fault. Just a scheduling conflict. Given another opportunity, I'm sure they'd love to have her take a shot at someone else if she was a good fit.

I feel confident she'll get another role down the line. She must also have been bummed having to quit Captain Marvel. I hope she gets a role later on.

I think of it this way.
I'm in Tony's shoes and I just found out this brainwashed soldier choked my mother to death, and smashed my fathers head. I wouldn't give a flying shit if he was brainwashed. I'd want to kill him where he stands.

And so long as you can admit that's a completely illogical way of thinking (and it sounds like you're aware of that), sure.

That doesn't make you or Tony anything other than wrong in that moment. Bucky was innocent. Full stop. No debate to be had on the subject.

Lol I knew he was innocent still wanted Stark to go ham on him.
I was also upset at Cap. I swore if they talked things out, all the problems would've been avoided.

Yeah, Cap was wrong for not telling Tony sooner. But at least his decision not to is kinda vindicated; the second Tony finds out, he flys off the handle, which I'm sure Steve wanted to avoid. At least till he'd found Bucky and gotten him the help he needed. He's never really given that opportunity, though.

Man, Zemo was such a great villain. I hope they do not kill off Thanos in A4.

No shit he flew off the handle. He's just had to arrest a bunch of his friends, had his arguably best friend severely injured, if he survives (didn't yet know at that time), the avengers, which tony has been detected facto leader and funder for since shield collapsed, are functionally gone because of caps decision to go rogue taking many of them with him, and tony is currently putting himself at serious risk of joining the others in that jail for trying to help cap out. Not to mention the whole airport thing was Tony's last ditch attempt to stop them just putting out a kill order on caps half of the avengers in the first place.

His reward for all that is finding out cap didn't trust him at all after all, which lead to him finding out cap trusted his parents murderer to the point where he wouldn't even tell tony about it, so that tony found out at the worst possible time.

The film might as well have been Captain America: tony had enough big fuck ups in the MCU , I want my turn.

I don't think they'll hold it against her, but who knows when another opportunity like that comes knocking? Great for Lashana Lynch though. Vaguely related, but we should get Captain Marvel news soon since it starts shooting.

Regardless, it was mostly a reply to her potentially canceling in order to play Storm instead. That would be a big mistake.

She didn't cancel in order to play Storm. If she could be filming Captain Marvel, she'd be on the set of Captain Marvel.

This is the hottest of hot takes.

No need to go into why you're wrong, that's been handled.

Just saw the IMAX trailer, hopefully that's the version that makes it way to the UHD. IMAX scenes on the Dunkirk blu ray are outstanding on my B6.

I will say it again; she did not quit Captain Marvel. She had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts after shooting was delayed. Her contract with She's Gotta Have it interfered.

Her relationship with Marvel Studios will be fine.
Yeah I don't believe that's the case, honestly. I was speaking about the hypothetical situation and why it would be dumb.

Women like butts. Men like butts. I'd be flattered if my ass was good enough to be shown at that angle.
