Nier's PC version isn't as great as the console, but the game is fantastic anyway.
Tales of cold steel looks trope-y, and on some level it is. But the world building put into the legend of heroes series from Falcom are unparalleled in other JRPGs. Every single person has a name, backstory, development over the game.

Game is fun to boot.

Trails of Cold Steel. I must have been typing on my phone. Trails of Cold Steel. By Falcom. Yeah That whole series is a lot of fun. ToCS is one of the two introduction games (the other being Trails in the Sky: FC) I recommended ToCS because of the modern conveniences.

And after you like and are invested in it, go back and play Sky games :)

And talk to all the NPCs. Every time something happens! It's a requirement (not really but seeing npc text boxes update is pretty cool)

For those having issues with the MafiEra Quick Vote Tool Script, be sure to update it. I broke something and it stopped the vote tool from correctly embedding into thread pages, but it should work after this update.
