I guess that's makes sense, make up some other weakness that is previously unknown to your hero/audience.

It just get like T'Challa was overly reliant on his suit and didn't look very proficient at fighting otherwise through the film whereas he looked much better in Civil War. I felt like he just got jobbed by everyone in Black Panther. Killmonger and even Okoye looked like much better fighters throughout Black Panther

I could imagine ten different ways Tony could overcome Panther's suit capabilities and vice versa.

One to one he shouldn't be able to win against Captain Marvel, for example. But what did he did do in Civil War II? He attacked her with "poison energy" because he knew her primary ability was energy absorption. What the fuck is poison energy - I dunno. Finding workarounds to superheroes powers is trivial for even a half talented writer.

My point exactly.

Lawd above, I can't wait for Carol's red and blue suit. I'm digging the blue and green though. Reminds me a bit of her Shield suit during some of the Hickman Avengers stuff.

Yeah, I really want Thor to be part of the Guardians going forward. He just fits so well.

Thor as a new Guardian would be perfect. Ragnarok could be the start of him as an intergalactic nomad since his home was destroyed. He can just go wherever he wants

What I'm really curious about Ant-Man and The Wasp is where does it fit in the timeline. Until now, every MCU movie is chronological (except for Captain America 1). Is this movie after the events of Infinity War? Is it before? Thanos doesn't accomplish shit and Earth just continue to spin without any problems?

Edit: apparently it happens after Civil War but before Avengers. Should've Googled before asking.

I don't think this is true? Black Panther is before Thor: Ragnarok and Spider-Man: Homecoming. GotG2 is before Civil War. And so on I guess.

Here's the official synopsis:

SYNOPSIS: "From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: "Ant-Man and The Wasp." In the aftermath of "Captain America: Civil War," Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he's confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past."

Almost certainly takes place after Civil War, before Infinity War.

Phase 3 has kind of ditched the "everything is in chronological order" thing. GotG2 takes place six months after the first so still in 2014, Doctor Strange is still ambiguous, and the other movies are varying levels of after Civil War (BP one week, SM:H a couple months, Thor ends right before Infinity War starts, etc)

I should have been more specific: the Earth bound movies happens pretty much straight forward, the cosmic stuff follows another path altogheter just like you said. And how comes Black Panther is before Spider-Man? Arent those two films just right after Civil War? Now I'm confused as hell...

Spider-Man Homecoming specifies that it's a couple months after Civil War while Black Panther specifies that it's a week or so afterward.

holy hell does Bucky look like a younger Mark Hamill (speaking of the last jedi Mark Hamill but in younger) in these posters.

Yeah but the important part is that they are both after Civil War. The films Spider Man and Black Panther have no connection, so that one happens before the other doesn't matter. For example they would not allow a free Vulture in Black Panther, even though it would be chronologically sound.

It sounds too wild to be a mistake though. Either true or some trolling at Metacritic.

If it happens I am leaving the theatre in an amublance.
I would absolutely die if it happened.

I still want there to be some big mystery character that shows up in the film that they haven't shown off/hinted at yet.

I don't think it's out of the question. I know the Fox deal hasn't gone through but that doesn't mean Marvel Studios wasn't working with Fox beforehand to share rights.

It's definitely unlikely but not impossible.

Found this on reddit. It's supposedly promo art for Disneyland.

While the other Marvel characters are wearing their MCU accurate suits, Spidey is wearing a totally different costume, leading to speculation that he will wear this in Homecoming 2.

It says "Artist Concept Only" though. I wouldn't read too much into it. Entirely possible that's how he'll look like, though. It'd be a nice costume.
