Wheel of the Worst 11 is the best. From the hypnosis rape to the life ruining revenge methods to the christian conspiracy theories, it's a cornucopia of terrible people.

That tree-stand safety reference.
you know it's old when they still have those references.

edit:

Oh forgot. For what it's worth I watched Lake Mungo today with 2 buddies. It was interesting. I was never outright terrified, it just had an unsettling tone to it throughout the movie that happened to be supernatural. Think of this as a mystery documentary about a tragic incident that also happens to have a supernatural side.

My friends and I were essentially playing
spot the ghost in the footage
at one point. We all agreed it was entertaining and worth a watch, but maybe Jay oversold it a bit too much on the show. What he considers chilling and terrifying clearly differs from what I do, but at the least the movie was entertaining.

Give it a watch, but don't come in expecting a horror film. Supernatural documentary thriller more like it.

Started watching Best of the Worst a few weeks ago, and I've just this morning caught up to the most recent episode. There are so many fucking great moments through the series.

Anybody know an easy way (without the use of costly image software) to take multiple images and compile them into one big image?

With a 40 image limit on each post, I'm thinking I'll create a composite image of every prior year for Half in the Bag and Best of the Worst. Those images will link to the Year page for each section. For the current years, I'll do individual image links like I have done in the past.

Thanks in advance.

Glad I wasn't the only one who kept confusing Cate Blanchette and Kate Bekinsale because of the Underworld movies.

Remember the days when Jay was the hard to please sex pervert and Mike was the light hearted optimist? Total role reversal these past couple years.

Jay is desperate to say positive things about the movie but Mike isn't having any of it. I'm surprised to see Mike crap on this movie but defend Id4 Resurgence and Jurassic World. It's like he saw Armond White and said to Jay, "Hold my beer." The last ember in his cold dead heart has finally extinguished. Now only star trek references can nourish him.

Is Jay replacing Mike? Is Mike replacing Jay? Burn it all down.

Is Thor replacing Jack the Bean Killer Slayer?

Is Jack the Bean Killer Slayer replacing Jeff: He Who Lives At Home?

Damn, I totally agree with Mike's rant on big cineplex chains, those bloated things caused a lot of small independent cinemas in my area that had better ticket/concession prices, seating, and screenings to shutter. Just like market gluts like Wal-Mart, burn it down.

There's a wild Vampire Assassin over Jay's shoulder! It survived the ritual!

Edit: And behind Mike! They're multiplying!

These hackfrauds are really pandering to the latest releases lately.

That cinema story by Mike sounded like one of the worst possible movie going experiences you can imagine. These days whenever I go to the movies, I do it on cheap Tuesdays two or three weeks after premiere. Nice, quiet and empty.

Also, I just noticed that Jay is drinking water now. Can't have that beer belly.

Mike's experience is a perfect example why we should have day 1 VOD services sooner rather than later. Theatres are almost completely useless with current home-cinema tech to begin with, and often a worse experience to boot.

I'm all up for this.

I can imagine a time where movies are for the most part directly rentable/downloadable on release, while more 'experience' based theaters (like Alamo Drafthouse, etc.) still exist to cater to select movie goers.

A shame what happened to Mike during the screening. I imagine he would've liked the movie as much as Jay did had he not been sitting next to that horrible cunt.

So I take it these guys don't actually watch movies together.

Mike's rant about the themes of gladiatorial arena rang true for me too. Although Jeff Goldblum was great, there really wasn't enough with him and he didn't come across as malevolent (the one guy he gets with the stick wasn't established as some low level criminal or rebel I think, could have been a major criminal as well). It felt like they wanted to use aspects of Planet Hulk, but not follow through with the deeper character stuff. Especially for Hulk, They made kind of switched him with Thor and Hulk just fulfilled the Silver Surfer aspect of the story.

Reminds me of the time they reviewed one of the Hobbit movies with the high framerate in 3D, but they were sitting in the world's worst location (very close to the front and all the way to one side if I remember right).

They punched down a bit too much this episode, sounded bitter, but the other stuff was fine.
