In Heavens Arena normal fights just don't seem to go to the crowd, thats why they must feel safe. Too bad Chrollo didn't give a shit about the competition.

"How is this crazy clown swinging around human heads?"

Most people can't even see that, they must just think it's doing it with physic powers or some magician stuff.

Wait how can they not see the human heads being swung around? The rope is nen but the heads are physical. I thought it was similar to how stands work?

Imagine Feitan in the fight, normal people would think that he was an invisible man or teleporting all over the place.
Haha, fo'real. And speaking of speed in HxH, this video I saw the other week was absolutely mind boggling:

Seeing the Palace Invasion in real time like that is absolutely ridiculous. Like, how fucking fast are these motherfuckers?! Haha.

Yep that palace initial invasion was crazy fast.

Also if Kalluto a nen user from the Zoldyck family has problems following a rusty Feitan i can't even imagine what normal people would see.

Considering how Leorio is also part of Zodiac now..... i dont think all Zodiac is well versed in battle lol. Maybe some is just smarter or join the Zodiac due other achievement outside of battling.

Well, being in action doesn't necessarily mean battle. They're obviously all skilled in Nen though, regardless of what field it is

This came up on reddit:

WSJ 90s Exhibition : "Togashi said that many people have told him that the extended publication for HxH is too serious. He is afraid that he will not see the end. He wants to try to solve this problem."

And no it's recent, not from the actual 90s. I think we'll have a good idea if "trying to solve this problem" means he's gonna be releasing more content if he goes on hiatus this time, or the other option that almost nobody wants.
Letting someone else draw is fine if they can do his style.

So he's going to let his wife draw it?

Maybe Yusuke Murata can do a redraw of HxH ;D

Could be that, more assistants to help him out, or just releasing more content a year [30ish chapters for example]

...or he could scrap a lot of the loose ends in the series and just end it after the DC arc.

The boat sinks next chapter and Gon got hit by a truck while Nenless and Killua goes home to his family. The end.

Outside of Gyro plot there isn't gonna be much else after DC. Pretty much everything is going down in this and next arc.

If he wanted to close Gon plot line he could easily have him live a normal life.

Do you think he ever wanted to do anything with Gon's mother?

The way its been handled so far could go either way.

Maybe if he stop adding like 20 new characters every 4 chapter and someone did the drawing for him.

I could see 3-4 more arcs based on important lingering threads in the series.

The Dark Continent alone gives the series the potential to go for at least twice as long if you ask me, which considering Togashi's pace is worrying.

Then again HxH is all about subverting expectations so I could see it doing the exact opposite too.

The Dark Continent might easily flow into the last arc depending on whether or not Gyro is on the ship, which he very well could be.

Gon and Killua could probably easily reach the Dark Continent if Killua's wishes for it from Ai/Alluka.

I see what you mean but it probably wouldn't work. Killua isn't going to leave Alluka alone unless he's forced to and he's certainly not going to take her to such a dangerous place. Nanika being revealed as the top-tier in terms of threat in the Hunter Hunter verse is most likely for a different reason then to just get Gon and Killua involved in The Dark Continent.

As long as Hanta Hanta end up with an ending, i will be happy enough lol. Guin Saga already ruined me here Togashi. You better don't add more pain to me.T_T

The important thing is that HxH ends the way Togashi wanted and intended, we already had a case of him shutting a series abruptly because he wasnt getting what he wanted (YYH).

Well..... YYh is the case that Jump want to milk the series more rather than ending it.

At least for how abrupt the ramen Yusuke is, it is still an ending lol.

He could get away with 36 pages a month, where as now he's doing like 18 every week

He could do 2 chapters a month in weekly basis and would be the same then. I wouldn't mind having a chapter week on and off.

I could see 3-4 more arcs based on important lingering threads in the series.

That's if he doesn't introduce more plot points along the way, who would have thought that at the end of Election Arc he would introduce DC.

Hunter x Hunter is taking a one week break after this chapter which seems like a good thing considering what could be months off. Could this be a hint of Togashi trying to return to a somewhat more consistent schedule?

Is it because WSJ is on a week break or is it just HxH going on break? If it's just HxH then there's a chance that it might continue past the 10 chapter schedule mark we've been getting. Releasing 1 chapter after a break right into a hiatus would just be mean.

Damn then is no One Piece or HxH next week.

It would not be the first time that happen.

Yea at this point I should probably just resign myself to us only getting 2 more chapters before another hiatus. If WSJ is on break next week then it's a very high possibility.

This is the same series where a supposedly short hiatus lasted a year. Nothing's off the table at this point.
