Ye apparently it's fake news.

However, HStallion Have some faith that Togashi will do a second volume without going.

edit: full spoiler text is out along with raw images, chapter should be up soon

i know i am extremely late to the party, but i just finished the anime the other day

this show is a fucking masterpiece holy shit what a ride, i have no doubt in my mind this thing could've eclipsed all other shonen if it weren't for all the hiatus

the chimera ant arc is up there with berserk's golden age as the greatest arcs i have ever had the pleasure to experience

i cannot wait to start the manga, it's impossible to stop now after what was revealed in the last episode about the dark continent

so, which chapter to start from

I dunno, I think these Mafia families are going to be tougher then the ones in Yorknew. For starters, they seem to respect the PTs abilities far more.

Franklin also warned the guy like 3 times, but of course they are not gonna listen.

Well the 10 Dons were the absolute power of the mafia and the shadow beasts were there main fighters, they were not weak it's just that the spiders are a lot stronger.
I really don't think these guys are gonna be stronger, and the guy is going against Feitan/Nobunaga/Phinks he's gonna have a bad time.

Is Nobunaga even useful without his sword though? Yeah he beat Gon in arm wrestling but still.

more confirmation that toilets are the true final boss of this arc.

On the surface I'd say these mafia guys seem a lot more well equipped than the Yorknew ones but the 10 Dons were smart enough to bring the Zoldycks in, it was luck that Chrollo survived long enough for Illumi and Maha to kill the Dons, it came down to who was gonna be able to kill who first. Dons couldn't really do anything about the fact Chrollo also is rich enough to hire the Zoldycks. Cant fault em too much for not being equipped to handle nen users of Illumi's caliber.

Next time probably shouldn't have all your leaders in one plac-.........oh boy this boat is a damn mess.

That boat is one big floating kill zone. We're all just waiting for someone to light the fuse on this powder keg.

So it seems the people do start at lvl 1 and not lvl 0

Man I really hope that togashi can find a way to continue the manga bc the past 5 or so chapters have really cranked up my hype levels

He still have his fists, also we still haven't seen his hatsu but that maybe is related to his sword.

Isn't he also an enhancer?
Yeah is an enhancer I think

Franklin handled that so smooth.

Knov cackling at this guy's spatial ability.

I like that description of the PT at the end. They are very confident in their capabilities, so they have no need to fuck around all that much. Good luck trying to take them out though.

Knov power has disadvantages that this guy don't have, he don't need to mark a place to got to, but yeah Knov power is better.

Franklin is a boss, dude just there eating a burger and waiting for Hisoka.

Knov crafted a portal between his hands and instakilled someone and this fool is just walking around with a knife. They're different powers, but this other dude seems more like an escape specialist, Knov is more well rounded.

It seems like the mafia guy's ability also works retroactively since he says that he can travel off and on the boat. So as long as he's been to a location, and that room is closed then he can freely travel to it.

Yeah this guy is an amateur compare to Knov, even Feitan comments on that.

Yep thats the advantage, Knov has a limit on the number of portals/locations he can place while this guy can go to any place that he have been in.
But Knov don't have to worry about the "entraces reseting", overall i still would go with Knov power.

I think that's a fair trade-off. Instead of having free access to a limited number of teleport locations, you have, most likely, an unlimited number of possible locations but there's a chance you don't have access to some of them.

The fact that Knov as scream has has infinite access to the SFV training stage seems like good bonuses.

I think the other guy can only even access these places if he's in a room with one door. He's pretty much fucked if he goes outside.

Overall Knov's power is just far more versatile. His power is frighteningly efficient that Togashi had to nerf him somehow.

Yep, if things get too hot he can just bail to his pocket dimension.

It seems a power made for escaping prison/closed spaces.

I don't think it's limited to rooms with 1 door. They're a lot easier to secure sure, but as long as a room is closed off then I don't think it matters how many doors or how big the room is.

Is Luini's ability limited to closed rooms? I thought that restriction only applied to the activation but that he could travel to whatever location he already visited after that.

That's how I interpreted it. I think he mentioned one door with wall enclosures. If not why wouldn't he just step in a portal in the part of the room that wasn't the bathroom?

It seems Nobunga got his sword or at least it's carring something that looks like it.

It still needs to be a closed room, even if he been there before. Those guards opened so he cant use that wc no more.

I thought his hatsu was tied into his use of his En. Basically he extends it in a circle around him and when something crosses it he automatically cuts it down without having to react. Kinda like how Killua caught that dart in the Ant arc.

I went back and read it again. I forgot/overlooked that his ability does need just 1 door so that's my bad. The locations that he can teleport to are also limited to closed rooms that he left and nobody has opened since then. Seems like a poor ability with a lot that can go wrong.

Now I'm wondering how his pocket dimension works because we've seen him peeking at the Troupe in the warehouse, a room that obviously has more than 1 entrance.

I always thought that was just normal En and swordsmanship, not a hatsu.

Luizi prepares to use his Nen ability...mentally visualizes, "I'm summoning my Stand Sticky Fingaz 'AR ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARRIVADERCI!!!!!!'"

Yeah, Nobug's "ability" could just be like these super Shu enhanced sword strikes, because he's an Enhancer. Simple on paper but still powerful, Enhancers don't need complex abilities.

It could also be something similar to Killua's lightning circle though.

If he's got something beyond that I'll be seriously impressed because it always struck me as a simple yet effective ability.

Maybe that's it then, it would fit an enhancer.

Are all the Enhancers dumb as fuck compared to the others in their respective groups?

Yeah they are simpler, but some like Phinks power is more interesting than other enhancers like Gon or Uvogin. And then there are complex abilities than combine multiple groups like Netero.

I think Killua got the idea for that from him.

Damn, that was a great chapter. Really enjoyed learning about spatial teleporting abilities, like Knov's. And this "Level Up" shit is a really intriguing application of Nen.

Almost looks like this new guy wants to secretly join the Spiders.
Almost? I think we got ourselves a full-blown Phantom Troupe fanboy lol.
