There's a sneak preview of their new acclaimed show 'The Terror' on tonight following The Walking Dead. 'The Terror' officially premieres with a two-hour premiere tomorrow night!

Not sure yet, but so far this looks like AMC's biggest hit since Mad Men.
Uh, I just started the episode on my DVR and it starts in the middle of a scene with Morgan swinging his stick and then people honking horns.
And for some reason, it's listed as being on AMC right now with a 9 PM to 11:03 PM time slot. But the show on right now is clearly not Walking Dead.

That is legitimately fucking dirty. Because on top of that, they apparently started the show before the listed time that Fios lists.
Is the scene I described above the exact opening but cut off a few seconds? Or should I wait for the second airing?

Agreed, this was pure shit. All the sudden people get 100% screwed via 2nd hand garbage.
I did just binge the entire season to get caught up...but I have to say I'm really over the Negan arc. It doesn't feel like it is going anywhere, the just keep going back and forth over and over again. It has been two seasons of this crap, no thanks.
Can anyone help me out and let me know if that scene, Morgan swinging his stick and then some people honking horns, was the very intro and I don't have to wait until it airs again?

I haven't finished the episode yet but why is every kid on this show a fucking idiot? Do these fucking writers not have another play in their playbook?
"Hey guys, Carl is dead so lets have another kid that makes stupid decisons"
Sure some kids are dumb but on this shoe every fucking kid is a fucking idiot.
"I'm fucking kid #8 on this show and I won't shoot through the huge grates in the fence, I'll actually open the cage up and walk inside"
It's just so trite and predictable. Oh and of course Carol had to be the one that killed that guy because "it will be so sad and emotional".

To be fair, I think they acknowledged a number of years ago that some people turn quickly and some take a while to turn. Not a huge deal.
On that note: meh. This was one of those episodes that was purposefully written badly to set up certain situations. Not a single person watching over the sick people and the stealth Tobin zombie was dumb. But leaving the front fucking door wide open with NO ONE guarding it? How is that a thing in season 8 of this show?
Plus, the kid sneaking out doesn't jive well for me with the zombies then sneaking in. It's just stupid. NO ONE was awake to see ANY of this?
And of course, they write a child in the show to do something stupid that we all saw coming.
On another note, I legitimately barely remember Tobin. I feel like I was supposed to care about him when he died but I couldn't even remember his name until they mentioned it on The Talking Dead. ... Along with the fact that he has apparently been on the show since season 5.
I don't know if that says more about my memory or the fact that this show has too many characters and they want me to care about people who are barely in the show.

The "one" lady on patrol got bit. Door was open because they needed air. Still dumb as fuck. I love the show but the creative minds behind it are about as 3rd class as possible.
Think about it for a second. They write the script, discuss it and everyone says "yep this sounds good", lets begin filming.
When I want to minimize casualties, I lead my men in a large group into complete darkness towards the spot the enemy just retreated into. I make sure they're all grouped up together. And on top of that, I whistle. Really works well. Nice tactics Simon!
Mostly fine episode, admittedly the second half of the season is keeping me engaged despite the bad writing. I'm still baffled that dirty weapons being a bite is now a thing. I mean, it makes sense I guess, why would teeth be the only toxic part? It just never mattered before, this wasn't the first time anyone got hurt with a weapon covered in zombie yuck. Consistency please.
