The update is kinda nice so far, but I am really hoping for some solid content to start coming to the game, as well as some UI and functionality improvements.

One thing in particular I would love to see, is the option to choose a hero skin in game.

Whats with all the emote crates though? As a thank you for playing from DICE or something?

I'm just sick of the maps too. Because there's no way to select a particular map, or even the era, the likelyhood is I end up on one that I simply don't want to play, forcing me back to the roulette wheel hoping for the best.
And there's no conquest mode.

Before this patch I had three Epic cards for only one hero, now I have them for eight. So that's nice.

Leveling hero ships is gonna be next to impossible now though.

Yeah, hero ships are gonna be a serious problem. Even though HvV seems to be total garbage now if you're not in a squad (EVERY time I've hopped in there since the update it's the other team is very obviously a full up try-hard squad) you can at least somewhat reasonably level heroes in there even if you're getting ripped apart. There's no equivalent for Hero ships though.

Update was indeed nice. Shame about the blaster hero running bug though.

We just need more content. More maps, blasters, heroes, even more music added to the continuous music option.

Adding like 2-4 maps every 2 months would really help. That seems impossible though. They should supplement by throwing 2015 maps in there. Like, add the Outer Rim expansion Extraction maps to Strike or something. That game mode was great and had awesome maps to go with it like Jabba's Sail Barge Garage.

People have been running through them all match lol. Bad game I guess?

Also. It looks the Blurg was nerfed. Good for game balance. Bad for people like me who enjoyed the trolling.

I hate Palpatine. I really do. The most annoying character ever to appear in a game. Whenever he appears on the battlefield i'm inclined to ragequit. Ban this stupid ass****.

How's the single player? I see it's on sale on PSN, but my plus account is about to lapse and I don't plan on renewing so online isn't that important to me.

I don't get why D'Qar isn't just like the movie, it should be take out the surface canons on the dreadnought and then escort the bombers.

That's what I suggested when they first added it. For some reason, DICE seems adverse to adding scenarios directly from the films. Everything is like an alternate version of what happens in the films (GA on Hoth and Starkiller Base, for example).

Finally got to play administrators palace last night and good god this game is gorgeous. Every time I come back I forget how good looking the game is.

Also played the night time variant of Mos Eisley for the first time. Gorgeous.

So this is on sale practically everywhere but I noticed the deluxe edition is no longer on XBL or PSN. I don't remember hearing about this being removed. So theres no way to get the Episode 8 costumes now?

Also, anyone have this on Pro and One X? I can use the 20% coupon on PSN to get it a few bucks cheaper then XBL but I'm worried about the lower res not look too good on a 4K screen.

Game looks fantastic on ps4pro. Also got some image quality update if i remember correctly. I have a 4k tv.
Its not like this game looks fantastic on onex and like a ps1 game on ps4pro.

Anyone else been suffering from some ridiculous lag this weekend? It's unusual for me yet here it is. Tried to play last night and after giving it a go for a couple of matches I had to throw in the towel.

April update *needs* to be accompanied some sort of roadmap or indication of when season 2 is happening and what it entails. And if it's Solo instead of Clone Wars, they'd better be ready to assure us that season 3 is happening immediately after.

Really missing some of the guns from the last Battlefront.

It doesn't help that the most iconic ones (E11, DLT19, etc) have no attachments and are just plain worse than all the upgradable weapons.

I miss whacking fools left and right with nothing but the E11 in 2015. Such a good vanilla weapon it was.

I miss the EE-3 and the E-11. I am inclined to use the base assault weapons due to flavor, but gimping myself hard with them. Why have recoil and atrocious random spread when others laser tag me with the blurg?

Funny that still a lot of people are running the DC15 with ES (and always epics, incl. combat shield) - you know who you are.

Put quite a bit of time into this over the weekend. The progression update is a game-changer for sure, and the community feels alive in a way it hasn't in a long time. However, it doesn't have anything that's going to give it long-term appeal. We need better maps and we need better game modes (Cargo proper, Extraction, Conquest).

D'Qar is one of my favorite maps. I love just how different you have to approach that map and the final objective—destroy all ships in 2 minutes—is super frantic and chaotic. I love it. But, to each their own, I guess.
