Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S5 |OT| Six Seasons and a Seventh

I thought it'd be typical of Coulson if his "i'm not dead" was to Banner, who has no idea who he was.
Like:
Coulson: "Hey, I'm alive!"
Banner: "Who are you again?"
I know but I held out for so long and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad for so long I couldn't I just couldn't anymore
and I stopped following it completely until season 2 started up again so I didn't see people talking about the improvement.
I just realized I misspelled "half" there, lol
In any case, now that you've grown attached to the characters, maybe you can go back and watch those episodes to see how far the series has come!
I mean, I did watch that first half. Which makes the current level of quality even more impressive :P
Everyone on this show is bringing their A-game but holy shit Iain de Caestecker is in a league of his own. Phenomenal actor with a long career ahead of him. Chloe Bennett also sold the hell out of the operating scene.

Dunno, but I've kind of just been watching every season as if it's the last.
Imagine tho, if Kevin Feige gave Jed and Maurissa like $150m to make a AoS movie.
I feel like Clark might have convinced them to let Ming na Men play Melinda May in captain marvel, even if she only gets a small speaking role
My hope is that ABC at least feels okay enough with the ratings on a Friday to keep it going. It feels strange that they would announce the ending of Once Upon a Time so far in advance so that they could make sure it wraps up nicely but not this show.
I'm also hoping that Disney again pushes them to renew it. They do use characters like Quake and Coulson in other forms of media that are directly tied to the show (mobile games, toys, etc.) so they see value in it. Also, with the news of Coulson returning to the film side for a movie, it might look good to have him in a current TV show as well. Opens up the possibility for a tie-in too.
Just crossing my fingers. It's one of the best shows on TV and deserves to continue on.
With the time period it takes place in, fans shouldn't expect some sort of major tie-in to AoS. But it would make complete sense to have a younger May at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters for a cameo.

It's probably not too hard to find out, but it's only afew days away so I'd rather just wait and experience it.
It's still silly to me that a show that can have a packed room at a con can still be on the bubble. I wish so many people weren't sleeping on this.
Are the ratings comparable to Buffy during its last few seasons? I remember BTVS and Angel having terrible ratings near the end of their runs.
I'm confident in the belief that Disney will force and then fund another season or 2 of AoS specifically for the streaming service.
It would be a great way to siphon those non-Live viewers to the streaming platform, especially if they air it (PST live!?) next day.

Watched a bootleg of the Wondercon panel. Always a little disappointing that half the questions are directed at Chloe at every con, but the chemistry between the cast members feels so genuine.
You can't compare ratings of today to 15 years ago. Let's just say that Shield's season average is below Inhumans right now.

Also 4th biggest % gain in viewers for the week.

Agents of SHIELD so far is averaging a 0.6 for season five
But as Fuzzy says, you can't compare TV ratings of today to TV ratings of 15 years ago. Practically nothing on TV is getting a 3.7 — Big Bang Theory is one of the biggest shows on TV and its season average this year is a 2.9.

Season 1 Ward (until you know) had like generic af typical trope agent charisma and that sucked.
But I say this after every episode. God damn did they improve so much lol.
Yes the eventual finger snap will erase Shield Characters from existance and the show will be cancelled. How will it affect SHIELD when its not getting renewed.
I hope Disney forces their hand one more time. It would be fitting for Agents of SHIELD to end next year, alongside the current MCU.

Someone uttered a line about Daisy possibly being rusty due to lack of practice recently. I think it was Fitz. Like I've said before, I miss the team just dealing with small issues and not being place in precarious situations all the time. At least hopefully for a few episodes if they get renewed. I just want them to be happy and restful.
