Of course supported, I think it may make it this time with all the factors (and it's already made 10% of it's goal, which is good). It also looks a lot better than last time we saw it.

I liked the ability to pick your own rewards on Fig. Have to pay more to get the tier with that stuff in it now. Not sure if I will/can, but I'll pledge in some capacity.

This campaign definitely feels like it paints a fuller picture of the game than the last time around.

Not great, not horrible. Here's some old data (since I'm not a writer/reviewer anymore so I haven't kept it up to date) on how the breakdown of when funds came in for more "expensive" kickstarters like this.

You really want to hit 35% minimum in the first 3 days, since more often then not the first 3 days will make up 30-40% of your total backings.

Hm.....backed, but I'm not sure that SWERY will be a big enough draw, especially with stuff like Mighty No. 9 'spoiling' the feel-good era of years past.

It's not like SWERY has a comparable pedigree to Obsidian, Larian, or Inexile to draw from, and the previous failure is gonna scare some people off :(

Ah well - here's hoping, regardless.

Backed (again).

Looks like a better campaign with a more realistic goal then last time, really hope this gets funded. Strange that there is no normal physical edition priced in the $60-100 region though.

I'm pretty concerned they're asking for so much less money with no real explanation of how that's supposed to work exactly. The amount they're asking for also isn't anywhere near enough to produce the game that's being described. There really needs to be some explanation on how this is really being funded

Edit: my apologies, I should've been more careful. They say Kickstarter is 40% and 'partners' are 60%. Still seems like far too little money for the game they are promising here.

"Last Autumn, we learned a lot thanks to our first campaign. We feel our biggest shortcoming was our inability to provide to our supporters a solid guarantee that we would complete the game no matter what.

Therefore, we decided to reboot our project only after finding a powerful partner and getting proper guarantees in order to ensure that we would be able to deliver The Good Life to you all.

By teaming up with UNTIES, the new indie game label from Sony Music Entertainment, we will now be able to plan everything from the very beginning. The schedule up to the delivery of the product, localization, quality control, and making sure everyone around the world gets to join in.

We believe that this partnership guarantees that The Good Life project will reach completion."

Edit: Oh, I see your edit

Yeah I see that now. Thanks.

Sounds a lot more promising than the first event.

I'll think about it... absolutely adore Deadly Premonition so this seems really enticing.

Backed the Early Bird PC tier.

Just really hoping there's an English dub too. Understandable there isn't one in the Kickstarter video, but I hope there's a dub in the finished product.

Before the Kickstarter went up from its draft SWERY said that it'll be Japanese subbed only for now, and >possibly< a dub in the country where the Kickstarter has the most backers.

However, those comments seemed to have disappeared, I'm guessing since it was considered 'feedback' to the draft they were removed.

Does KS charge you when you make the pledge or when the campaign's over?

When the campaign is over, so in May.

Backed for the PC, mauve more expensive stuff later. I'd love to go for the shirt, or more, but man my spending is tight, and there's the Chicken Wiggle, and I just saw and Abe's Odyssey art book too today....

Backed the early bird PS4 and really hope we can do it this time. It looks a lot better, has so many details compared to before.

Alright, the first campaign was terrible, but this time I'm in for a physical CE ! Hope this gains traction, that's a decent start but not good enough for my liking.

Backed again. Hope it's funded this time. This industry needs to enable more weirdos like SWERY.

I want to back it but I'm completely broke at the moment. Once I can get some scraps together I'll definitely back it. Both Futatsugi and Swery deserve success.

I really hope it suceeds this time. Swery is a great guy and so passionate about everything he does. I wish him the best and really want to play his new game. I think it looks and sounds great.

Didn't back on Fig because the total was too high, but I'm in for the early bird special this time even though I had sworn off kickstarting.

I don't know if this looks good but it definitely sounds like something I would want to play. Hope it makes it this time.
