For western Terrace House fans:
Love Wagon (あいのり) Asian Journey on Netflix April 19
I was going to say my interest depends solely on the hosts, but then the location and travel aspect might win me over as well.

The way the hosts talked in that first episode I think they even hated Aloha State. I think they said "refreshing" about 5 times.
Yeah. Aloha is the worst season in TH's history. You won't miss a lot if you skip it tbh, there's only 2 or 3 interesting people in it.Started episode 1 of the new season and I'm right back in this shit again :D Can't wait to get through this.
Consensus seems to be it's better than the Aloha season (which I skipped because of the reception)?
Thing is, I don't have too much time for long shows like that, so I'd rather it be good and also I'm more interested in the Japanese perspective and Aloha sounded like it mostly had Americans in the cast, no?You should watch it. People make a big fuss about the differences but to be honest it feels like any other season of the show, just sunnier.
Nice. Lezzgooo.Yeah. Aloha is the worst season in TH's history. You won't miss a lot if you skip it tbh, there's only 2 or 3 interesting people in it.
Opening New Doors pretty much destroyed it in like 8 episodes.
There's 3 or 4 non-Japanese members over the course of the season, but it's not even the problem. It's the complete lack of chemistry between a lot of people, and an overall uninteresting location.Thing is, I don't have too much time for long shows like that, so I'd rather it be good and also I'm more interested in the Japanese perspective and Aloha sounded like it mostly had Americans in the cast, no?

Also I'd recommend hunting down the first season, Boys & Girls Next Door (a quick google search will take you to the fansubs), cause it's arguably the most fascinating one to watch.
Oh okay, I might someday. Thanks! Also I'd recommend hunting down the first season, Boys & Girls Next Door (a quick google search will take you to the fansubs), cause it's arguably the most fascinating one to watch.
What the fuck is this bullshit music!?
Fix this shit, Netflix. Holy shit.
Shion seems like your glasses nice guy hot friend from an anime lol
I feel that having Rie there was a mistake. I understand the publicity stunt part of it, plus not everyone goes to TH to find a partner, but having someone, who (almost) can't be in a relationship no matter what was kind of a buzzkill and felt like a wasted slot to me after a while.BxG Next Door should really be called "Boys x Girls really love alcohol" some of these people get black out drunk lol
And I really like Momo.
Edit: Rie is so thirsty for Makun you can see her heart break when he talks about leaving the house lol

I think she was drunk enough that she'd have cried about anything (unless I'm remembering it wrong). Why is mizuki crying. I know yuudai is clueless but...So confused.
Yes:So do the commentators ever come to be a part of BxG Next Door or did that start later or something? I think I'm on like episode 7.
Yuudai should be so happy he has Taka and to an extend Shion to defend him to the others, because the girls would have ripped him apart otherwise.
I went from "Yuudai is alright he's just a kid he's gonna be fine" to "How the fuck did this guy even survive in life until now" so fucking fast.
The wait for the next batch of episodes is going to be hard.

Whelp, that's that... Maybe they shouldn't have touched OND. I doubt Netflix would've cared much if they just stuck with fansubbing the Fuji TV ones.
What? Noooo!
Also - is it just me or does Ami have an annoyed look on her face at all times? Maybe not annoyed, but almost anytime there's a group shot if you look at Ami she's completely expressionless like she's doing everything she can to just tolerate these people. It could be that's just her natural resting face, but given how she dunked on everyone in the house with her friends, I'm reading it like she can't stand the other people in the house.
I presumed it was due to an injury? Haha.I bailed on Aloha State midway through and watching OND is like a breath of fresh air. Just finished watching ep 3 and this season is like a goddamn anime. I almost spit out my drink when I saw the one girl's friend had an eyepatch. I always thought that was just some moe shit, but turns out it's a real thing I guess.

Also, mad respect to Tsubasa's dad, raising two daughters by himself while running his own soba shop. Tsubasa is the team captain who only has one year left to lead her hockey team to victory.
Also - they changed the opening theme and it has made me irrationally upset. >:(

I think she just can't emote. Her face is always just "whatever," whether she's annoyed, happy, or actually indifferent. Also - is it just me or does Ami have an annoyed look on her face at all times?
