Well, this is impressive, dude managed to restore back the old Maria version in Bloodborne
That's very cool. Reminds me of Freida from DS3. Wish some of this stuff was in-game, there's not enough NPC content in Bloodborne.

Cool dialogue but the final game version being only the cutscene is better. Fits more with how BB delivers the narrative.
Man, I kinda don't enjoy Bloodborne and I can't even really put into words why. Frustrates me. =/
At first glance, I don't think soI do wonder if Simon killing Maria still holds in the final version though. After all the dat description in the final version still says that, and it wasn't intended to be shown even in the "beta" version.
That's an older version isn't it - they patched the bino-boost out(?)
It's impressive but like the DS3 speedruns where half of it is an invisible player running through unloaded OOB areas - it's just not that fun to watch.
Where in the game are you? I almost uninstalled the game during the first few hours since it's so punishing.
Fixed.
You're at the Depths bonfire? It's like a 60 second run back if that! They were being nice when they placed her so close. :)Beat the Capra. Got cursed in the depths. First time I've ever been cursed, and now I gotta haul it all the way back to the undead female merchant to buy a purging stone. Ugh.
I already miss having the Lordvessel.
With the souls I grabbed Magic Weapon and Great Heavy Soul Arrow. I'm starting to become slightly overpowered...
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I have tried googling!
Will this have a digital version on PS4? I'm thinking of getting all Dark Souls games (and Bloodborne) on one console in digital format and then keeping it as my Souls machine for ever...
WatDarkroot Garden is proving that this spellsword build is not viable, sigh. Might as well delete the character now.
I die in like two hits (usually one) and my attacks are getting much weaker.
I'm at the forest, not where the golems are.Level up your HP. Almost nothing in Dark Souls kill you THAT fast unless you stay at base.
The crystal golems are resistant to magic, but deleting your character because of that seems like an extreme overreaction?
Man, never fails lol. I've played all Soulsborne games since Demon's Souls, and levelling up HP is never a waste and I've always done it (and capped it at 40-50). But yet I keep hearing people say that, and then they, inevitably, invariably... complain about getting one- or two-shotted.You kill everything so fast in the early game areas that leveling VIT is just a waste.
The Stone Guardian enemies are also resistant to magic I think, story-related I assume given the forest is Oolacile.I'm at the forest, not where the golems are.
I haven't levelled up VIT at all due to pouring most of my level ups either into DEX for my Katana, ATT for more spells, and INT for my spells.
You kill everything so fast in the early game areas that leveling VIT is just a waste.
You don't really need to kill Sif rn, unless you want to do 4 kings super early?I do kill the trees very quickly but they often come in packs where hitting one means getting hit by the others. Their attacks do like 50-80% of my health bar in one hit, shit is ridiculous.
The forest hunters are even worse, the knight and the dude with the axe kill me in literally one hit and I do like nothing to them. I can't even grind off of them like I did in my first run of the game, sigh.
Also Sif just kills me in one hit too lol
I did that for my first run of the game as well:You don't really need to kill Sif rn, unless you want to do 4 kings super early?
You can kill the dude who gives you the key and it will dropI did that for my first run of the game as well:
Burg > Parish > Depths > Darkroot > Blighttown > Sen's
I didn't know you were supposed to do it any other way!
Speaking of, I thought you can only do the Four Kings once you have the Lordvessel?
Yes but I assumed the path to them was blocked off by one of the orange fog gates that only lifts once you get the lordvessel
Oh yeah, 4 kings is the only one of those that doesn't get an orange fog gateYes but I assumed the path to them was blocked off by one of the orange fog gates that only lifts once you get the lordvessel
that is basically what I want too. I still play the game on the ps3, so all of that would already be nice, and I really don't want any enemy replacement bullshit.I was hoping I could finish Bloodborne and DS3 before the remaster came out but that is not going to happen. SofS alone took me like 70 hours, and that's without the DLC. It takes me forever to finish these games.
This probably has already been discussed in this thread but, what changes are you expecting / hoping for? I don't think we'll really get much of a graphical update. I'm just expecting a clean, higher res 60fps version of Dark Souls and that's fine. The game holds up and looks better than DS2.
I do hope they bring some of the improvements to the menus and UI from the sequels. I'd love to be able to cash in 10 Souls of a whatever Soldier in one pop. At the very least I hope we get upressed art and text for the inventory screen and the HUD.
I don't understand why we haven't seen more. That's worrisome for me.
