I dunno shit about Nightmare but the google results look spooky, I hope they lean into demons and weird diabolic shit in the sequel.
Oh my this is fucking AMAZING news. You can get two or three times more trippy than Doctor Strange first film itself with a character like Nightmare as the main villain.

I think they're actually forbidden from contact with each other while the deal is in process. Of course it's not like these megacorporations actually follow the letter of the law anyways.

Most US theaters these days offer it. Though for most of them, it's reserved for more deluxe options (IMAX, RPX, and so on).
Pretty representative considering it was always just a generic mess of a trailer. People read way too much into that.
I'm really excited for Phase 4. I hope they announce the lineup this fall.

Seeding is based on Rotten tomatoes scores. Winter Soldier and Doctor Strange finished with the same 89%. Thats why its so close to Black Panther.
I didn't want my own bias to determine the seeding. I thought about just doing it in order of release, but then we'd get Black Panther vs Iron Man pretty quickly.
Civil War and GotG2 isn't as close as I thought it was gonna be.
Betting on a Comic Con reveal for the 2020 films only, while they hold off on the rest until after Avengers 4.
They have to reveal those 2020 films this year. They're all going to start filming next year, and Marvel wants to be the one to announce things.
But they'll hold off on anything else they don't have to show due to production/filming.

Gunn already confirmed GotG Vol 3 for 2020. We just don't have a date yet. (And technically, the Studio itself hasn't listed the film yet either).
That poll almost broke my heart. Had to vote against Strange which is one of my favorites then Ant Man. Was worse when I saw Ant Man only had a single vote.

Dawg. I'm already pissed the fuck off. Infinity War gonna snatch our souls, Ant-Man & Wasp gonna provide a brief moment of levity, then add a credit scene to make us go nuts, and then nothing. For 8 months.

Right. Though, in fairness, the MCU ain't the only source of superhero films. Back half of 2018 gives us Into the Spider-Verse, Venom, Aquaman, and Incredibles 2. Not sure if I'm forgetting anything else. But yeah, the "fatigue" claim is bullshit.
This would have helped a lot. Unless Disney wanted more room for their Holiday movies.

I like that one since it's spaces out each movie pretty nicely. As soon as you're wanting a new MCU film, BAM, there it is. No MCU or Star Wars movie during the fall/winter is gonna suck.
Ill probably watch all the cable tv Marvel shows during that huge gap. Ive seen all the movies and netflix shows, but besides the first 5-10 eps of AoS I havent even scratched the surface
Captain Marvel launch will be even more of a big deal because of that. Fans are gonna be thirsty af for new material after IW.

What is mainline MCU? If/when the Fox deal goes through, X-Men and F4 are just as mainline as anything else in the universe.

What Marvel did last year with their releases was great, I prefer that schedule. One could also just skip Ant-Man and the Wasp in the theater and watch it at home instead this November to spread it out.
I've always been excited for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and still am, so that's gonna help. I'm gonna check out all the superhero movies in the cinema anyway, but gotta at admit I'm not the least excited about Incredibles II. When it comes to the DCEU I actually think it got a bright near-future ahead of it. And I'm hoping Aquaman will have some horror elements now that they got James Wan to do it. And Shazam is gonna be all kinds of crazy fun, and then they got Wondy 2. Venom I'm indifferent about currently. I'm bummed the Fox properties got delayed cause I was excited about both The New Mutants and X-Men: Dark Phoenix this year.
