Yup. Marvel isn't going to reboot X-Men into another separate universe. The X-Men and F4 will just be new MCU franchises.

I'm using it as a descriptor of what they are right now... I realize once the deal goes through they're all "main line" at that point. Also, I don't know what 3 other movies are coming out when, so it was just easier to group them as so, in addition to an X-Men/FF/Deadpool movie.
Wouldn't surprise me if X-Men and F4 kinda took the spotlight once they're added to the MCU. They'll be the headliners, with the "classic" MCU heroes being the ones making cameos.
Cant wait for the first movie adaption of adult Peter Parker :D

If RDJ was unable to be Iron Man way back in 2008, would Tom Cruise have been able to pull off the Stark role at least 70% as well? I was thinking a lot about it tonight and I think Cruise, while not being as good as RDJ in the role, would've been the best possible substitute.
So, do you guys think they'll quickly gloss over the first end credits of Homecoming or address it?
It does raise another question as to how Peter can get out of the bus and put the mask on without anyone noticing, but I'm sure they'll find a way around it.

Everybody's distracted looking out the windows on one side, Peter sneaks out a window on the other side. Nobody sees him.
Probably not going to address it in Infinity War. Feels like they really could have wasted it by having it as the final scene of Homecoming. The part in the Amazing Spider-Man run where May finds Peter all messed up in bed would have worked really well as a post-Infinity War opening to the sequel.

Yea, It feels like a wasted oppotunity having it at the end of Homecoming. I would imagine it'll be addressed with a one liner or something when it could've been better used in the sequel.

I could see him playing a Tony Stark but they'd have to go a different route with the characters personality. Also we wouldn't have gotten this number of appearances from the Cruisemissile.

100% it will be dealt with Spider-man 2. I don't think they'll just ignore it. I'm leaning with he convinces her he was just wearing the costume and isn't actually Spider-man; wether it is a fanboy thing, testing it for Stark - some tale like that. I don't see him revealing he's Spider-man purely because Ned and Batma- The Vulture already know, they can't have everyone knowing his identity so early.
They probably just wanted her to know in the sequel, but didn't want the story to be about that. Homecoming generally avoided the drama that the comics indulged in at times, like Peter's friends getting mad at him for randomly disappearing or not showing up. Everyone just brushes it off in Homecoming.
Feels like overkill to do incursions at the same time as the gauntlet when incursions done right would be at least a three year build up of their own.

It could be Thanos knows incursions are happening and that's why he wants the gauntlet. To pick which worlds live and die by his own hands instead of both collapsing.

Time Runs Out & Secret Wars are my favorite crossover events in part because Hickman got to lay the groundwork for years, in the context of a story that already had well established the idea of alternate realities/multiverses. That idea has been mentioned in AoS and elsewhere, but we haven't seen a Days of Future Past in the MCU and I'd feel like they're rushing their plots if they roll these together right away.
So, I could see it working but I'll be frustrated we don't see Miles Morales, Reed Richards & Doom, etc etc first.
I expect Skrulls as the next major avengers arc and a slow build to incursions culminating in Secret Wars in phase 7 or 8...
He said it has nothing to do with any Fox characters or Nova. I'm super interested in Cosmic Marvel though because the GOTG trilogy will come to an end. There's gotta be someone else or another team out there in space unless GOTG get more than 3 movies.

This isn't really about Infinity War. There's something in Infinity War that's a hint at this. Just like Avengers showed Thanos, Dark World named the Infinity Stones, Winter Soldier named Doctor Strange, Age of Ultron introduced Wakanda, etc.

Nothing official. Something will leak out by next week about ONE movie in Phase 4 for 2021/2022. It's not any Fox property and not Nova.

Yea way too soon for incursions. I don't think that's happening at all.
Eternals. That could be referenced in IW because Titan was founded by them.
I'm more interested in hearing who's going to be behind the camera for Phase 4 films. Hearing people like Coogler and Waititi were doing Marvel films and Feige was letting them do their thing excites me more than X character is getting film.
