Agreed; confidence is quiet. Also, as Huber has shown, confidence can be very loud.
Damiani knows a ton about the industry. From my understanding hes worked in it longer than most of the allies and he has tons of shady connections he's always referring to.
Damiani telling Arc was working on a DBZ fighter and Ben replying that wasn't cool to lie about is the best EZA story.
Uprising is awesome if you like mech tropes and like good action. Actual good action scenes, not the crap TV and most cinema has been selling for the past ten years.
I thoroughly dug Pacific Rim Uprising. I think Huber might be a tad bit hyperbolic in his praise, and unfortunately Ready Player One has probably pushed it out of most IMAX theatres, but I'd totally recommend it if you're looking for something silly and fun.
Also: I did not love the first one. It had some great moments, but overall the movie left me feeling cold. This was the better of the two for me.

There hasn't exactly been many mech action movies in the past 10 years to compare it to.
I mean action in general. Good framing, not too close, great choreography and stakes, zero shaking, believable hits.
There have been countless movies with better action than Pacific Rim: Uprising over the past 10 years. Many.
I didn't say it was the best in ten years. I said most action in the last ten years has been bad, and the action in this movie avoids that.
The obstacle course and fight to the death is rounds 2 and 3
No matter how much I love EZA, I'd vote Yoshida if I actually voted here.
Yeah this is my problem/confusion with the studio thing. How many months below 50K to move out? How many months above 50K to move into the studio in the first place?
Do they just move into it at the first month above 50K? What if it dips below 50K then? Once they have the studio are they magically able to stay there if the Patreon drops to 45K? I feel these things need to be elaborated upon clearly. They probably have been mentioned on some random stream or show somewhere but it should be on their Patreon, website and/or have a single video dedicated to it.
Personally I haven't acknowledged the fat dad thing (as of now I really don't care). I was just addressing a confusion I have with the goal itself.
