I think we're reading too much into the Kelios tweet. If the only thing we have to go on is an emoji I think we should approach the idea of zelda Direct this week with a massive grain of salt. Would love to be wrong but it doesn't add up for me.

Fire Emblem Three Houses and Bravely Default 2 might be up your alley.
Invisible Inc. is available on Switch iirc. Great stealth game.
Wasteland 2 is a Switch CRPG

if you like stealth and like 3D platformers, Fe is a pretty good game (wouldn't call the stealth particularly involved but it's a big part of the game, on top of the metroidvania elements)

what are you in the mood for right now? Might help with recommendations

This might help you all:

Based on the website Steam 250: What are your favorite characteristics/genres/etc. in video games? What traits are you looking for? List and summarize

Based off of this website here: https://club.steam250.com/ranking/custom I decided to list the traits/characteristics/genres/etc. of video games that I like from Steam 250, though I understand it's not a complete list, despite how extensive it is and a lot of it is vague and it only means...

I don't have a gaming backlog anymore so I'm eager to have some suggestions.

Also odd they are missing something else that will happen prior to E3. But that is less obvious and more challenging for one to guess.
You're obviously talking about that Zelda Direct that 100% confirmed will come this week.

In all seriousness, it seems like there are some expectations for this week. Do you expect something soon?

I guess if they hope to have a good version of the game on Switch Pro, I can see it. I'm afraid that the game on Switch might end up always lagging behind on a technical level. I guess it depends on how long they expect to keep supporting the XONE/PS4 version.

Yeah I've been playing this version pretty regularly (I've racked up at least 10 hours since launch, I usually boot it up once or twice a week for a few matches) and I can't help but wonder if we'll be getting any major patches/updates to make the Switch version look/run any better or if this is just what the game is just gonna look like until a hardware refresh. It's Panic Button, they're usually good about making their ports more playable after launch, and they got a game as impossibly huge as Warframe running well, so I get the impression that this was just rushed because EA wanted it out ASAP. But man, this is such a strange port lol

Do you know more or less the timing for this thing or it can happen anytime from now until E3?

Timing should have it between now and mid-May. It's nothing to really speculate or hype one self over. It should be a neat thing, though. It's not a Direct, Partner, etc. or anything of that nature.

I haven't heard of anything for this week. Would enjoy a nice surprise & have something happen, though.

The Internet
Nate is obviously hinting at Nintendo buying everyone with a Switch passes to Universal Tokyo so we can all experience the last thing Mario will ever be a part of.

I'd say Donkey Kong has too much popularity to be kept under wraps for long. Wonder if Pikmin might get shown off prior to E3

E: Nvm, if it's not NSO nor game related I can't imagine it's anything beyond some gimmicky new hardware accessory

This sentence is an absolute

Jedi were always so proud of that saying like it isn't the reason why they needed to be dissolved for their increasing passiveness and irrelevance by RotS

Always when I see Nate or other leaker talking about something "neat thing" but "no create hype" I think about a casual game. (like Ring Fit/Labo) or a small eshop only game.

There's also this rumored delayed Namco event where we should get Elden Ring trailer and DB Kakarot Switch announcement. Klonoa Encore too, if we're lucky enough.

Last time Nate said that there was something neat, but don't get too hyped (or words to that effect), we got Pacman for NSO a few hours later
