The arbitrary HR line now in Angels Stadium is legitimately the dumbest shit. Its awful on every level, fundamentally going against the entire concept of what a homerun should be but also being impossible for umpires to actually being able to tell if its a HR or not with the bright lights of the scoreboard making the yellow line impossible to see. Can't believe MLB allows this shit

Most Angels fans tend to agree it's a dumb change. Though after it nets us two homers in last night's game, hard to argue with results. Someone in the front office probably watched a ton of replay footage and told the club it'd benefit the Angels more than their opponents I'd guess.

I tell you what, that Tribe game was so awful, but fun because of all the dongs. Even as a Cleveland fan, I could not complain. Kept watching just to see the ball sail over that scoreboard over and over again. Hopefully they can get the W for Kluber tonight.
Also, that fence/home run adjustment by the Angels already working for them. 2 that would have been doubles at best last year were gone because of the change.
