Figured we would trade Asche since we don't really need him except as depth because Cuthbert and Moustakas and I would rather bring up Hunter Dozier.

I don't really get this trade. Almonte has a great arm and getting just cash or ptbnl is underwhelming unless his recent shoulder troubles are worse than thought. There has to be more to this.

preston tucker's shit discipline will eventually get the best of him but when he's on you can see the talent he had/has. He's never going to improve enough to be a really good player, but if he can just improve ENOUGH the braves really got a steal there. Id like to see him take over in right when Acuna is here and send Markakis off to a new home (or THE home whichever).

Pretty pleased with the lineup, beyond pleased so far. Looks like after he came back last year it finally clicked for dansby and its continued, albies isn't hitting much but you can see he's close.

Most runs scored of any team, best run differential, and that is with Inciarte and Albies hardly contributing. Obviously it won't last, but at least now I'm not turning off mlbtv after they get off to a bad start.

To be fair, he was a 22 year old starter at that point. Guys take time to develop, especially at that young an age. I never understood people that were writing him off completely that early on in his career.
Is true, but he was decent the few outings he did the year before, so ot was kind of sad to see how bad it went, good thing the organization kept faith in him.

So when are they handing the Yankees the American League title? This is all we care about as New Yorkers.

Edit: maybe a chip *shrug*

Astros win again. Yawn. Between the Rockets and the Astros, this Houstonian is just getting so bored with all of this winning.......oh who am I kidding. This is the best couple years this city has ever had in sports. Feels great. Too bad the city only supports the bums on Kirby.

pitchers generally take at least a year or two to get good once they are up in the bigs. Writing off such a pitcher is hilariously stupid.
