Aye, keep flogging them as remasters when remasters they are very much not. It's a stubborn and valiant effort, but you guys at Acti really aren't going to redefine the English language on us!
I'm completely unconcerned with Toys for Bob handling it, though. They have/had Mike Stout from Insomniac on board, who's not some chump, and it's an entirely different remit to the Skylanders stuff.

The palette's great.
How so? The GBA Crash games are essentially the PS1 games just shifted in a 2D manner. They played really well.
Nitro Kart I'll admit is slow as molasses but it's dangerously close to CTR.
Every other source is from Spyrothedragon.com. I fully believe this is legit and I'm happy cause he looks great!
Oh my bad, well I don't think Skylanders will hurt it, but does know if it will help it. Spyro aesthetic is different from his Skylanders version and there no toy to life tying in to act as a "gateway drug". It will match Crash.
I'm curious about two things.
1 - Will Spyro 2 have the slight differences between the EU and US versions? That being the opera vocals in the US final boss Vs the no vocals EU final boss theme as well as the different subtitle (Ripto's Rage vs Gateway to Glimmer).
2 - Will Spyro 3 have the music from the Greatest Hits release? The original re-used some songs in certain areas and the final boss didn't even have a unique theme.

I just wish the grass is more green. Kinda the iconic look of Spyro's world. It should be bright green instead of yellowish.
Remake looks good, but they have obviously made major changes to the art style. I had hoped they were going to stick closer to the original. Based on these screenshots at least.

Like the nailed the art style. I love it. I'm only a bit bummed that they changed the super vibrant grass color in those shots but I understand they are trying to make it look more like it's sunset. Still though... I miss that gorgeous green grass.
