Nice to have someone willing to do it.I've made it known that I try to find and preserve lots of Nintendo-related videos and trailers. Always loved doing it! :)
we will not rest until we get it!

Just kind of catching up here. Am I reading this as you believe the Pro will not launch until next year?If they want to position it for Pro then it'll slide to a 2022 release. There really isn't much certainty when it comes to 2021 releases right now. At minimum, it should be announced this CY/FY.
...what? Of course you can. It could be another small tease, just as small as the first one was. Maybe just a portion of a small cutscene.
Reveal the final title of the game just before E3.
Then at E3 we'll finally get the "big blowout".
I highly doubt this is anything Nintendo related, but it's not like this is just "not how you tease BOTW2"
What makes this year, what makes next year?
- Wind Waker + Twlight Princess HD
- 2D Metroid
- EPD's Donkey Kong
- 3D Kirby
- Mario Kart 10
- Breath of the Wild sequel
- Xenoblade 3
- Next 3D Mario
- Bayonetta 3
- Metroid Prime Trilogy
- Genealogy of the Holy War Remake
- Pikmin 4
We already know what game he was talking about, since the announcement happened.I was talking about ZhugeEX , if it's BOTW2 then his tweet will be more hype than this
its going to be a Chinese mobile game that no one care about it except ZhugeEX himself lol
I'm thinking they might just go back to subtitles instead of continuing the count up; like Mario Party did after 10.Wouldn't the numbering still be Mario Kart 9, as to not confuse consumers? I'd be like "What happened to 9?" if 10 was the next entry name.
I know Tour has enough content to be 9, but I wouldn't think it'd be smart to break the numbering tradition started with 7.
This isn't an important line of discussion, though, so feel free to ignore me. ha

Based on the lack of discussion about it, obviously not, lol.
They pulling a Microsoft on us?

I am of the belief the revision will be a 2022 product, yes.Just kind of catching up here. Am I reading this as you believe the Pro will not launch until next year?
Nintendo won't show anything significant most probably until E3. Even if they do they definitely won't during this week when they are in full Pokémon Snap marketing mode.
I am of the belief the revision will be a 2022 product, yes.
Nintendo traditionally does a quick "clean house" wave of announcements prior to E3. Clears out smaller announcements that they can't fit or prioritize in their E3 Direct.
Informed speculation.Hoping to not bother you, but is your belief that the Switch Pro is coming next year based on stuff you've heard, speculation based on the current components shortages or both?
Also, I was curious to ask about the "neat" thing you've heard about happening by mid-May IIRC: is it still on track for this specific time window?
Informed speculation.
The neat thing remains on track for mid-May -- plus or a minus a week.
Mostly just related to COVID impacts. Thanks for the answer.
One last question if I may ask and you can provide an answer: a few pages back you mention there isn't much certainty on 2021 releases. Is this due to Switch Pro's release period and Nintendo deciding on what might be released alongside the revision, Nintendo's own secretness or other factors?
I'm looking forward to Dragon Quest's 35th anniversary next month.
It was two posts after the post saying it wouldnt be a port of X :Nothing on those posts makes me think the project MSI is unveiling this FY is X related.
He just said that we'll get a new MonolithSoft game this FY, that this game is NOT a port of XCX, and that this port is still planned (for a latter release). I'd keep the X2 hype on check, probably this is still far away, sadly.
This is feeling more likely now, for better and worse. Then again, Nintendo loves surprises, so watch for another random Zelda game and yet another year without Metroid. How would people feel about a H2 lineup of the following?
That's probably what we're looking at if the Pro comes next year.
- Skyward Sword HD
- Windwaker/Twilight Princess HD
- 2D Donkey Kong spin-off (not Country)
- Metroid V
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3
- Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Yeah I was just thinking this might be what Nate was expecting.
Full online play; so very neat.
Sounds pretty good, to be honest. Great, actually. I've been waiting for Metroid 5 for nearly 2 decades. How would people feel about a H2 lineup of the following?
