Do you have like.. top 3 for potential scum? Because this list is right now just whole bunch of nothing :P.
There's nothing I really want to know. I mostly just want to see how you play over the course of the game.
Honestly. I've had nothing much to say to you at all. Every post from you so far have felt towny up until you're recent vote for me. But considering the recent posts about me and my prodding votes, I just took the assumption that you voted for me because of suspicion over my votes today (As someone else said, for 3 different people today even if they were just prodding votes).
So despite your vote for me, I still read you as town as none of your posts have seemed that scummy to me.
I've said yesterday that Stuart was reading scum to me after their OMGUS reaction to my vote and pressure applied their way, and their actions today haven't really done a lot to reassure me. It feels a lot like a new scum player realizing "oh the way to be active and to get others to think you are town is just early prod voting!" I realize this is a bit of an exaggeration, but if you look at their contributions today it's:
- some unquoted mechanic discussion
- quoted prod votes
This has been my main problem with Stuart today. He has jumped from vote to vote, and the moment that vote is challenged even a little, they unvote. It's like he is scared to step on anyone's toes.
Even the vote on SF he put in D1 was wishy-washy.

This is no real defense for my actions but I admit, as a person irl and online, I'm not confident and don't tend to pressure anyone nor am I a fan of it.
So I suppose you could say, I'm trying to learn and get better with stuff like that.
Yes, I realize again, it's no defense for the way I've posted so far in this game but it's the way I am normally. So I guess again, I understand where you guys are coming from in respect to me being scared to challenge or pressure people.
The bolded really emphasizes what I was trying to get across in my post in a much more concise way.
You could say it's just new player jitters, but I don't think that's a good excuse for not considering him for a lynch today.
In general I usually see scum do these days:
1. They are scared to post, but they read the thread intensely
2. They are scared to really challenge anyone.

My top two scum is Xbro and Ketkat. Primarily by post count and lack of town cred by what posts are there.
Can you give more insight on why KetKat? I've been pretty consistently town reading her.
Honestly, this explanation weirds me out even more.
Here's the thing: I made this post during late D1 as if I was setting a huge piece of bait:
I listed you as one of my three main D1 suspicions. The other two were well-documented and explained in previous posts, but I specifically left out any details on yours to grab your attention and see if you'd react. The "surprisingly strong" comment was seasoning to the curiosity. I even let the vote sit there for half an hour, even though I said I wasn't for a newbie D1 lynch and even though we were less than an hour away from day end. Maybe you weren't in the thread during day end - but surely you'd question it when D2 started. You didn't.
Every single part of this whole thing so far leads me to believe you're purposefully keeping me at a distance. I don't know why, but I'd noticed it, and so I made a concentrated effort to get you to reach out to me twice - first on D1, and today with my seemingly unfounded vote -, and you didn't grab either opportunity, even though questioning me about those posts would've been the most logical move you could make.
Even if this isn't about me at all and my self-centered nature made me focus on you by mere chance, you're still consistently avoiding to confront a player who's been accusing you for two phases.
Yeah, okay then. I won't defend myself anymore. Instead, I'll call you out for your hypocritical stance.
You were absent a lot on D1 and today. You only showed up when called out and end up making joke posts before you finally start to contribute and say how you feel about people. While at the same time, you also make a lot of little posts including one where you pat yourself on the back which feels to me like you're artificially inflating your post count so if anyone looks at the post count for today, you'll appear active.
Frankly, I was planning on waiting until tomorrow to call you out on this despite thinking about it whenever I see you post but might as well do it now after that little barrage of posts before a quick "Going to bed now" since you know the game will have moved on enough for you to focus on something else when you return.

Am I the only one who finds this read odd? Especially since nin was very visibly defending Geno D1 about the fishing, I'd almost say he reacted lot more light skinned to it than Geno himself did.

I can understand how that might look odd to some people especially since I wasn't really explaining it well in the panic of the end of the day (I really wasn't prepared for just how hectic that feels). At the end of the day, the two people that I was leaning towards were Geno and Sexy Fish. The train that popped up on Geno after I put my vote on him felt really opportunistic, and Sexy Fish was a part of that. It made me second guess the votes on Geno, and that's what ended up pushing me towards him.
When I was mentioning coincidences piling up at the end of the day, I meant the combination of him and Xbro ending up being a part of similar opportunistic votes and unvotes, which was odd to me. The fact that he ended up being town means that I was definitely reading into those too much, as well as the way that some of his posts were.
If you're curious how I feel about Geno now, since that's kind of related, I feel better about him today than I did yesterday. I still don't really trust him, but I don't find it hard to believe that I fell for some bait like that. I'm still not sure what to make of his argument with Fandorin since it seems a little overly defensive when Geno's vote wasn't much better.

I'm currently trying my hardest to not attach those two at the hip and chase after them inside my tunnel.
They sure seemed to be very buddy-buddy in D1. So that read from nin felt like very intentional distancing himself from Geno.

I'll agree that the nin and Geno thing is curious. In #220 nin says something to the effect of wanting to prevent what Geno said from being blown out of proportion. It's one thing to have your own opinion on whether or not something is scummy, but that and the other posts he was making at the time give off a "knowing" vibe that I'm not too sure of, if that makes sense.

Secondly, her reasons for being on the Sexy Fish vote to begin with were pretty good. Lastly, she went out of her way to correct herself of her own violation at post #616 today. I guess it's possible that scummates could have told her about it, but it comes off as slightly townie as I don't think a scum player would have immediately pointed that out like she did.

Purely based on her voting history yesterday (assuming Geno vs sexy fish is TvT) and her post count.
It's what I would do with a day 1 while on scum team. I'm projecting my place style on her that's all.
