Why wouldn't he have claimed earlier when he seems to have admitted to scanning someone. He could have helped clear whoever it was assuming the person he scanned was a townie. Or alternatively, outed a scum if he scanned a scum person.

Because from my understanding, it's a strong role that helps town and could save him if he was ever on the chopping block.

Geno's resistance to claiming on D1 despite being on the chopping block actually leads credit to his claim now.

His behavior these past few days has still been very questionable, but the pieces seem to fit.

Its an ok move, he has reasonable doubt as to which token is his, so unless scum can target a player individually with death (because even with a token reveal power of some kind it would still likely take one extra day) he is as safe as any of us for at least 1 more day.

I had wrote a rather big post but we're in a game and it was pretty much a newbie defense so I deleted it.

I get that Geno believes on token targeting, I do as well. But it's still such a risky move to claim like this, I bet there's some X-shot way for scum to guarantee a kill in cases like this, plus I don't think Stuart would actually walk free with such a bad fake claim.

Taking a look at the community chest card forthe night kill, it says you can target a player. I don't see why this wouldn't be the case for scum
