Ump completely fucking the Royals. Cleveland doesn't need help, bro.

That 3-2 pitch to Cuthbert was a really bad call. Cuthbert would have loaded them up and kept the inning going. Still probably would have lost even if that happened.

Oh well, pretty close yet uneventful game except the first innings really. Glad Duffy settled in since he had issues in his first start and had eight days rest because of postponed games.

EDIT: Also, this happened and I figured it would happen.

Still don't know if Zimmer is ever going to get to pitching in the Majors. This was mainly done to get him off the 40 man.

Now that I'm officially in Jacksonville, Florida, the games that features the Baltimore Orioles & the Washington Nationals are no longer blacked out. But games featuring the Tampa Bay Rays & the Miami Marlins are now.

But those teams are terrible anyway.

PITTSBURGH -- After 81 years as an usher, Phil Coyne has worked his last Pirates game. The 99-year-old, an instantly recognizable figure around PNC Park, decided to retire.

Coyne worked approximately 6,000 games in Pittsburgh since 1936, following the Bucs from Forbes Field to Three Rivers Stadium to PNC Park, where he covered sections 26 and 27 along the left-field line. He was even in the stands when Babe Ruth hit the final three home runs of his career in 1935.

I don't know what's worse, all the Yankee injuries tonight or this idiot lady screaming "LET'S GO YANKEES" repeatedly on the broadcast.

So what happens if Didi just puts his shoulder down there to collide instead of sliding? Do position players who aren't the catcher get the same protection rule?
