even with a 10 year contract it would only take him through age 35.
I think the white sox only have a little over 10 mil committed after the 2019 season right now.
though it would likely be far better to take the 75-90 mil in payroll flexibility they will have after this season and spend it on like 4-5 big players instead of harper and like 1 other.
either way I expect next off season to be exciting in terms of the white sox signing people as 2019 is when they are hoping to compete (while 2020 is when they are expecting to compete)
