I'm a little bothered by YoYo's tactile nature of her fingers. What if she dropped some change on the floor, she ain't never gonna be able to pick it up.

In theory (and probably because the show doesn't have the budget to show off prosthetic limbs all the time) she would be wearing gloves most of the time.

Elizabeth posted a series of Instagram pics over the weekend making fun of Yo-Yo's trouble with the fingers... Spoiler, she just wears gloves that have the metal finger look attached to them..

Rewatching a couple recent episodes. I completely missed May's line to the Superior about being "just another Russian infiltrating our government."

This show has the best damn writing staff.

Ah, right. So then it feels kind of strange that it hasn't seemed to come up again.
It probably will. There is no way they can save him right now. They have to find him first which is why Yoyo is doing everything possible to get to Coulson first.

It will probably explain why Daisy was in that Quinn Jet by herself.

Just caught up. Oh shit Simmons is insane with that Russian roulette test. And the Quinn and Raina callback was great.

Two thoughts:

1. Man, I wish the show actually had a budget this year. The writers are doing a fantastic job keeping up the show's quality when they apparently can't afford to have more than like 6 rooms and two hallways for the entire season.

2. I desperately want for Daisy to finally meet Ruby and just stomp her into the goddamn ground with no effort.

It's really something else what the team has managed to do with this last (?) season. So many call backs to season 1, finally resolving unresolved plot threads.

Please, let it get a sixth season. PLEASE.

If the show is renewed, I would like the writers to look back at season 2 for some influence. I'd like to see the team get back to being S.H.I.E.L.D.

As amazing as it has been to put them out of their actual job (stuck in the Framework, stuck in the future, etc.) I would very much like to see them in more of an atmosphere of season 2. Rewatching some season 2 stuff has been great. It's almost as good as season 4.

Oh. And bring back Cal.

The time travelling element opens up so many possibilities. SHIELD has so much of its roots in the Golden and Silver Age of Marvel.

They have that here and there, but I do agree.

Does anyone else miss Patriot? Dude became my jam later on.

So they travel into the past and meet up with Peggy Carter. The first arc of AoS S6 is Agent Carter S3.
Well it's one of the only storyline they haven closed. Maybe if AOS got renewed again they can even close the Inhumans royal being on earth plot, make them go to space or something. Tie everything up neatly and end AOS.

I wonder if they'd go do stuff like the Zodiac and the Great Wheel. Get into the old, occult roots of SHIELD. They were going in that direction with S3, but they backed out on it with Ghost Rider and then went full sci-fi with time travel and space and alternate realities. I love it, but it would be cool to go in the opposite direction. Go back to the old roots instead of forward in space. Granted that was AC's forte, but since AC is no more, it would be nice for that all to be rolled into AoS instead.

I'm more and more convinced that they fail to break the loop.

We will see the consequences, their deaths then their kids, finally we see the next loop start, as they teleport into the future.

Some actions change, scenes repeated but slightly different, and again they fail.

Until finally.. A loop where they don't.

If this is the last season Coulson Dies.
If not, he appears to die set events in motion then recovers via ghost rider.

I would be upset if Ghost Rider cured him. It's the reason he's dying.

Which I meant to mention: So can Daisy have the Kree blood removed from her system as well? Does that mean she dies? Because that's how I came to understood it. Coulson is dying because Ghost Rider burned through all of the Kree in his system. It's why his old wound is basically returning to how it would be now.

Ghost Rider burned through Coulson's second life.

This is kind of what I've been expecting too. We actually see the destruction of Earth, and a repeat of the future storyline. Maybe the second or third time through they finally break it.

A "Heaven Sent" episode would be bonkers

Them travelling back to Agent Carter would mean they'd know about Hydra being inside Shield which would fuck up The Winter Soldier so that's not happening.
Just have them fuck it up accidentally. They think they stopped Hydra, but then they actually just delayed the resurgence, and only a couple people knew (say, Peggy), so it never came to light because they thought they'd erased the problem. Everything is still the same and nothing changes.

I mean, it was dope period spy show with sci-fi and superhero elements. There's not really anything out there that matches it. Closest I've found has been Nikita (2010).

Then again I'm not looking very hard, but it is a comparable show. Minus the period elements, it basically becomes a Metal Gear show. It's ludicrous and bonkers.

Can we all just come to an agreement that May has the most heartbreaking arc this season? Her relationship with Robin straight up breaks my heart every time.

So many people knock May off just because she stoic most of the time but hwr character arcs and development has always been really quite unstated. I like how this arc makes so much sense given her history of wanting to have a child, her having to kill a child and even her relationship with Daisy as both mentor and mother figure.

And it manages to not just be retreading of old plot points even though the series hass been going for 100 episodes. It's a fresh plot line that gives her character more nuances.

The show's really good at keeping characters consistent.
