I'm not about to defend the 16/17 series even though I did kind of enjoy it, but I'd say all three games are actually pretty solid.
What are the 3 games outside of the musuo and dreamcast games?
I didn't even know it existed. It ever leave Japan? It's not just a port of the dreamcast game?
Never left Japan, but there's a good fan translation out there. It adapts a pretty big chunk of the manga starting with Guts vs Zodd at the hill of swords and ending with Grunbeld. So it's not an original story like the DC game, but it does have one original mini-arc mixed in.
Did they even do a decent amount of fixes in the Anime Blu ray? They showed that one shot they opted to hand draw and never showed more. Of course I can't expect they'd do the whole show.
The way it looked wasn't the only thing wrong with the adaptation. It's also written, directed and paced very poorly.
I stopped reading a few years ago (according to wikipedia this was almost a decade ago???) right before they got on the boat. I heard Berserk had come back out of hiatus a few months ago and let it cook a bit before chomping in. Finally started last week ....and it's back on hiatus. (._. )

How can you even do freeze frames and record scratches in comic form lmao. I'd love for someone to try it. Because it'd have no real way to imply it's frozen, more like it's a dialogue as the scene is going on

Is there anyone who wouldn't want a proper berserk anime to be made? Problem is at this point publishers must think the property is cursed outside of the Manga. I hope they're putting 2 and 2 together that bad adaptations equal bad sales.
Though I am curious how the movies sold. I think most still enjoyed them all things considered.

The movies did well AFAIK. I enjoyed them all especially that the CG was good in the movies not like the shitty newest anime
I think if Netflix took over we'll get an amazing Berserk anime that could go for seasons
Netflix Adapted Blame! The manga and movie are both bleak as fuck.
Problem might be whichever studio/distributing company currently has rights to berserk adaptations in Japan, and distribution in the west.
Does Miura have no say in this stuff? Or does he not care anymore?
I seriously wouldn't be surprised if they put a bid in for the series but were a bit too late. It's obvious that they push Berserk because the movies have been on there for years. I honestly believe that Netflix will get the rights to it down the line. I can see Netflix getting Gantz too for another requested anime adaptation.
Netflix seems to be getting original anime via Japanese studios from their Netflix Japan, I don't think they have much creative input as to what they want for the service. There are others like duckroll and hosanna here who would know more, but seems to me like they just seem to me throwing money at studios to make essentially whatever shows they feel like as long as they're distributed via Netflix.
I am seriously tempted by this despite owning the series in paperback. Is there any chance these would go lower in the future? I'd love to be able to read Berserk on the go/at work.

Same here (both on desktop and mobile), it might be regional? 'cause I only get the berserk max edition (which I already have) and not the ones from dark horse.
It's region-locked yeah. The collections have never shown up for me either, even if I follow a direct link to an individual collection.

English Berserk on comixology is region locked, yeah. I'm european and they don't show up. Buuuut if you use a US proxy on your local site the issues will show up just fine, in your local currency and everything. Easy.
And once purchased they'll always show up in your library like usual, so no worries there.
I doubt Dark Horse'll ever be able to solve the regional licencing limitations, but if they ever do it'd still be the exact same ones you'd be buying. And they still get your money. It's how I've been reading them.
