At the end of the game Kratos and Atreus reaches a very dark place.
Then suddenly brights lights everywhere iluminates the area, after shaking away his confussion he sees a wall with a paint on it, says:"Metacritic score will decide the fate of your son less than 99, Atreus dies"
The game will check the online score of the game at that moment in MC and you will get a definitive ending depending of the score and nothing can be done to prevent the bad ending unless game reaches a 99 in MC.
So, the good ending can't never be viewed by anyone, no matter how hard you try. A metacommentary about how much significance we put into reviews, that's why reviwers thinks is that amazing and why they are sheding tears.

I like this Skill Up guy. His BotW review checks out (thinks the game has issues, but is still a remarkable achievement). His excitement + the fact that he embraces games with great mechanical depth = Me excited
Until this gets all reviewers to inflate their score to get to that 99 MC, at which point David Jaffe comes out to slaughter Atreus and Kratos and just stares into the camera. "Game critique is dead."

Everytime I hope back in here it grows by like 5 pages. Once the reviews go live, I cant imagine the chaos for good or bad that will arise.

Hoping God of War gets a 97 so I can say that it was nostalgia for old God of Wars that gave it that score.

Someone asked about that and they said they're only going to be using footage from early in the game, what we've seen in the previews.
There will be meltdowns tomorrow, but It won't it be the people that are excited for this game.
Be a warrior absolutely, good length, nice variety and mix of story teases and action and incredible music.

I have not even watched previews or read any about how the game plays. This will be the first game I ever go into really blind outside of the E3 presentation. I can't wait to be surprised.
People anticipating a shitstorm review thread must be forgetting how the same was expected for U4 and it was pretty calm overall.

Remember when this thread was about all the various previews? Watching this thread evolve has been life changing. I stayed up for the Horizon reviews so I am sure as hell not going to miss the end of this masterpiece of a thread.
