It's a challenge quest, accessible from the Gathering Hub. Quest is called 'Down the Dark, Muddy Path' and you need to hunt a huge Barroth (guaranteed large gold crown if you didn't have it yet). You'll need 7 tickets for the entire set, so be prepared to hunt it multiple times. Also, since it's an Arena quest, the Barroth is scaled for two players, even if you solo it.
I guess we won't really know if they plan on an ultimate version or not until it happens since they don't want to discourage people from buying the game now.
I know Black Diablos isn't that hard to fight (I play CB, she's just guard point bait), I'm more lamenting the fact that it's another monster that isn't part of a crown event quest, which means a lot of crown sniping investigations.

iirc yes, you can transfer you MHX(generations) savefile to MHXX. And XX is basically "Generations Ultimate"(wanna bet that if XX comes west that thats the name xD) But i really think that they will tbh. MHWorld sales have pretty much reached its end destination in japan, much sooner that previous versions iirc

I wouldn't mind seeing a faster blunt weapon. I guess that's what the tonfas are in Frontier though, and they don't seem too concerned about bringing those over.
I agree. I thought if this was going to be anything like G rank then I want no part of it. But then someone reminded me with G rank monsters comes G rank armor. Relief shall come.
I think the quckest I've done it is around 18 minutes - to be honest I don't pay much attention to my times. I could be more agressive, but I like to get it done with no faints to I take it easy with the risks!

Not available yet, no. Can't see it on the event quest schedule but I'm sure it's due pretty soon (on PS4 at least, not sure if they're doing the same early access thing as they did with Ryu).
