I can see it if you're comparing Eren from season 1 to Shinji. They made him too much of a wuss in season 1 but he never was that in the manga. I especially remember it being really bad when he had to fight Annie in the tunnel, took him a lot to make himself fight her where he didn't have those same hang ups in the manga.
How was Eren a wuss in season 1? And vs Annie it wasn't because he was scared of her, it was because a good friend that really did turn out to be someone he had to kill. This is coming for a guy that for 3 years just wanted to slaughter beasts that are not humans. with no mercy. Now all of the sudden, it really is his friend. His reaction made perfect sense, so did the other people who were already on board with crushing her. I seriously don't get how anyone can think Eren is a wuss at any point during this series. All 3 of the main characters have huge balls of steel throughout the story.
Also like a 10 year old Eren killed a human being in cold blood with no fucks given. Shinji would have run away crying.
I think it was a case of people memeing the fact that Eren had a tendency to either lose or get captured.
When these chapters are one big action scene I read them way too fast :(

Annie in the tunnel and also when Annie is pursuing Team Levi and he doesn't transform which gets them killed. He's been pretty consistent since then, which is why new badass Eren doesn't seem out of place or even like he's changed. This is what he wanted to do, then, now he's actually able to.

Damn this latest chapter. Was legit ohhhhshiiiit at jawcracker. Reiner had a titan form with his normal face as well which was pretty weird to see. Armin seemed pretty depressed afterwards (saying Berthold?) so I wonder what's gonna happen if the blimp gets shot down. We'd already seen him smashing ships sent to Paradise so it's interesting to see him forlorn about doing it again. I'm not sure he's all up for the colossal antics. I think a lot of us were expecting him to drop down Berthold style and ruin the city, could still happen?
I see lol.. I think that's actually one of the best things about the show.. it could have easily went into Eren does everything useful for the good guys. Compare it to other popular series I won't name where the main character is the one that solves everything
He didn't hesitate in the forest. They explicitly told him to listen to them and NOT transform. It was only when they died horribly and he saw that listening to his superiors was a terrible idea, that he went full metal rage mode to kill.

definitely possible that they could do that, but i think that they are actually planning on escaping for now

What happens before that is one of my favorite moments in manga though. The hype is out of this fvcking world. Armin.. Levi.. Erwin.. damn. Literally after that we get this. Might be the GOAT B2B manga arcs. :o
Armin & Eren vs Colossus was also absolutely incredible to me. It's hilarious that 3 characters other than the main completely stole the show that arc.
another great chap, I wiched Armin took his titan to where Eren was fighting and just wreck some shit! Riener always managining to survive somehow....I don't whay the Manhaka keeps him around....he's definetely going through some shit though, thinking he might just turn eventually

He didn't care about the ships. He cared that he was doing to civilians exactly what happened to him/Eren/Mikasa when they were children. Having the collosal titan appear from nowhere and destroy the town (and lots of people!) that they children grew up in.
Yeah I read a different scanlation yesterday and the one I'd read previously had missed a page - the one where he said "this is the view you saw" - or something to that degree. It made more sense with that page!

I assume the person would choose which form they transform in to, else they'd surely have always have combined the collosal titan with the armoured one simply to make it an unstoppable force?
With all thr powers combined, coordinate control mindless Titans. Armour makes you hard. Big Titan. Cart can do that centaur thing. Attack can give heal factor theory. Warhammer allows you to make weapons and do like a Titan puppet. Jaw gives you sharp teeth. Don't know what value the female and beast titan add.
I'm fairly certain they keep their "form" but get a modifier in the form of whatever other powers they've absorbed, which could indeed be a slight visual modification on their previous form. Even though it was a continuity error in the manga originally, Ymir's mindless titan form simply got all her incisors swapped out for canines when she got the Jaw's power. It modified her form.
Also as far as we know Grisha's Attack titan didn't change much, visually, after getting the Founding's power added to it.

Yep I agree with that. Kind of makes me wonder what a pure Attack Titan Eren would have looked like since he inherited two at once to create his current look.
But obviously some forms would drastically change that look more than others. For example if Eren now received the Colossal that would be a pretty stark visual update to his look.

Female Titan is rogue class, a good skirmisher. Beast Titan is (I think?) the only one with ranged attack ability by throwing things.
Yeah female titan is crazy fast and pretty strong so agility is her thing. She is probably as strong as the Armored Titan with her speed making up for lack of defense.
Beast titan we haven't seen manifest in anyone else so you have to wonder if it can take on other similar beast forms like something more werewolf-ish than apeish. But if we assume it's always an ape then yeah it's got those super long arms for insane-velocity throws.. I'm guessing it wouldn't be as good at fighting one on one with another titan because the arms would almost get in the way -- they are best for whipping objects around. Also Zeke seems to be special because he has his own mini-command power to control the titans he helped create.
The crystal ability is obviously from the Warhammer Titan now that we've seen it in action, meaning Eren should now be able to fight like Annie.
I wonder if we deliberately haven't seen the Female Titan's special attribute as a way of obscuring the WHT stuff.
Attack Titan's power is the insane regeneration speed, no one else recovers like Eren.
He's pretty dang strong too, I think he might be the best all around combatant due to the recovery speed and crazy strength. He's so strong that he's obliterated his own body parts attacking opponents' armor.
Well, he's the only one who can really get away with sacrificing parts like that.
I thought female titan was also the fastest in pure running speed.
Beast Titan has indeed the ranged precision snipes... with simple rubble. Love that combo.
It also helps that he seems to be in control of his Titan better than anyone else.
