Considering what we're seeing so far, this season is going to be close, at least to me.

I wonder if my hopes are too high.

Mercedes stringing together a couple of races with 5 Hamilton wins in a row is still a possibility.
What I'm curious about is how the performance will be on the Ferrari-favoring tracks from last year, namely Monaco, Hungary and Singapore.

Norway
I have this lingering feeling that we've just seen Ferrari being lucky that Mercedes made a few mistakes and Mercedes will be more consistent. Strategy in Aus, Bottas unable to pass in Bah.
Pace is quite similar though so here's hoping that continues.

McLaren is a disgrace, how can they be worse than Red Bull and Renault with the same PU.

Wheres the bullshit about them having the best chassis.

They seem to have the draggiest chassis on the grid, and have had for years. They are slow as fuck on straights.

Ferrari seems like the best car again here.

Man, i woke up just for the start of the Q3 session... so two failures just after Renault told the customers they can use higher performances mode xD (were they damaged or is that an evolution ?)
If it's gonna break anyways, might as well use more power while they are running. At the moment these Renault engines last less than half the needed races anyways.

Yup, doesn't smell too good for Renault customers... They focused on reliability during their winter development, but it doesn't seem to have really paid off.
I am amazed RIC managed to get a car to climb to Q1 .
