Seems like a waste to do Faction Rally on my 305 Lock so I'll probably spend most of this week on my 301 Titan instead. Wouldn't mind that NM gear for him.

Yeah, especially in the open world, not so much in dungeons.
Is the FWC token limit still broken? I had 330 tokens and still got gear rewards on the last hand-in. I still didn't get the SMG with adjustable fire rate, which I really wanted because all my SMGs are the crappy 900rpm type.
I have a full set of Titan NM now, which is great. Still missing some guns though (and I have had 6 of their shotguns!).

Hm I'm getting them everywhere, it's like every few seconds it just keeps flicking for a microsecond but damn if it isn't annoying and consistent.
I kinda feel like I'm done with the game for now. I'm a new PC player and I've been really enjoying the game for the most part but I've just ran out of stuff to do. I have every class at around 290+, I've done all the milestones for the week and I've done the blue quests. All that's left is the raid which I've done once and completed the first two challenges of but my friends are rarely on anymore so it's hard getting 6 online. Overall it's a well made, enjoyable game which lacks repeatable content (something like Mythic+ from WoW) and many basic features (mostly social and/or MP ones).
The RNG in Faction Packages are brutal as ever.

Mine are gone. Disabling Vsync and any other fps cap programs like RTSS did the trick.
Hit 300 last night (DIM says 295.5 max base power), which seems kinda crazy to me two weeks after PC launch. Still missing a few things I'd like to own: Origin Story, Etana/The Last Dance, Uriel's Gift, a decent cluster bomb launcher, and Orpheus Rig. But I basically have every other piece of gear I want apart from some (cosmetic, at this point) Trials armor pieces.
I don't see myself getting burnt out quite yet thanks to weekly activities and Trials, but I'm still surprised my friends and I tore through this thing so fast.

I just hit 305 and I feel like I've been working my ass off. I've had a good time since PC launch, but I'm sure I've put in at least 75 hours and it feels like 75 hours. But I'm having a really good time and I'm not bored yet.
Oh, definitely. I didn't play Destiny 1, and I've largely avoided MMO-like games because I knew what they would do to me, so this whole experience has been consuming for me. The first thing I did this morning was open r/DestinyTheGame to see what the daily activities would be.
But I can see why console players might feel like the game is too static between their launch date and the release of the first expansion. Compared with Overwatch, the other FPS that steals my life, this game doesn't seem to get enough small tweaks, balancing and quality of life adjustments.
Nameless Midnight, among other guns, looks amazing with their shaders.
This is a completely ridiculous assertion. Get a fireteam together and play trials this weekend, then get back to us.
The Trials game mode is so much more intense than all the others. The rounds format means the super economy and power weapon control becomes interesting. I was pleasantly surprised.
Ok, so, we are a group of 5 Spaniards who are looking to do the raid on PC EU. We only had two shots at it lat week, an hour and a half each, and we managed to beat Gardens. We need one more to do the raid with us, obviously, spanish speaking would be awesome but a couple of us know english so if we have to "cross" translate, we will.
Anyone interested? We usually raid from 10 pm CET, we are all above 280 light, I'm 300 myself.

Trials is definitely a solid PvP mode in my opinion. Definitely requires top notch teamwork. As someone who didn't really enjoy Destiny 1's PvP, I've been very happy with this game's.
On a different note, has there been any talk of bringing back any content from D1 to D2? I would love to play the raids that I missed. Perhaps this is an unrealistic dream given the tech changes between the games.
I think it probably is, but it does make me sad that the D1 players I know say the past raids were better than this one. I loved this one!
They brought back a D1 crucible map, so it's not entirely out of the question
So I accidentally activated the Windows game DVR thing while trying to get used to playing with a mouse and keyboard. I was annoyed by the little box on my screen but I ended up having a pretty decent streak.

Yea, I only got to do Vault of Glass in Destiny 1 and I loved it. It single-handedly justified all of my time spent in that game. I've seen both VoG and Leviathan at the bottom of people's lists so I really want to do the others now.
That's more or less the only reason I thought it could be possible. I'm crossing my fingers. I want more reasons to keep playing.
^ I don't even try against sword blinkers anymore. You're not going to get away from them and they close the gap way too fast to take them down even with good aim on the fastest ttk weapons. If no one is there to help me team shot I usually just loosen my grip on the controller and wait for respawn.
Yeah, you want to go FWC and get the helm and chest especially (all the armor is Survivalist, but those two can be tuned to Recovery).
I imagine their legs are bugged, though, since all Hunter survivalist legs appear to be?
Is it worth grinding FWC only for the Heart of Time pulse rifle? I want it but considering the current meta and state of pulses I don't know if it's worth the time and effort for one weapon. Is it competitive in PVP?
Worst than last go around because they added 5 weapons to the loot pool. Before there was only 4 weapons and 5 armor pieces.
That's a huge jump in possible loot drops and reduction in drop rate. I'm not suprised we won't be getting full class sets this go around.
Bungies terrible, no good loot drop design strikes again. They'll patch and hot fix our min/maxing to get around it asap, but they won't FIX THE DAMN LOOT SYSTEM.
Yeah, I'm getting more stuttering and hitches since the update to fix, well, the stuttering and hitches. Also, performance now tanks whenever going to any vendor which is very strange.
Outside of that though, 4K and HDR10 with Destiny 2, it's beautiful.
I got this last night and while I like it, I can't see it pushing passed the more popular PvP guns in the game. I could give it a proper go tonight though and report back.

IMO, FWC has the best Faction weapons, I'm really disappointed with New Monarchy (2 Scout Rifles? uh why?)

Love 'em. But I pretty much use them exclusively in PVP and in D2 that's usually just for a change of pace since it feels like you have to work harder for kills with pulses. I already have the rest of the FWC weapons from last time so I just wasn't sure if this pulse was notably better in PVP than Time Worn and Lincoln Green.
I had The Number drop yesterday from FWC tokens, and that's pretty much all I wanted. I've been auto rifle starved since the game came out, but got Martyr's Make, The Number, Hard Light in the span of about two hours last night.

Is there a cap on reputation tokens you can store? I am saving them for when I hit 265, but this morning I randomly checked the gun smith and noticed I was at 99. And I was wondering if I am losing anything over 99 that I save. I checked a couple other rep npcs and they were over 100.

I've been enjoying it in PVP. Completely holds its own against some of the more popular guns in the meta.
You guys are hella paranoid. Still works after the maintenance (and actually your posts seem to have been made after the maintenance happened?). It is far too risky to deploy any quick fix without testing, a bug would have to be pretty game breaking for a dev to be willing to do that since the chances you accidentally fuck up something else are just too high without proper time for a testing cycle. Hell, they didn't even deploy a hotfix to fix the trials emote exploit. Sure, cynical people would say that emotes cost real money so they would rather disable trials, but actual reasonable discourse would more likely conclude that since trials already is coded to be on certain days and off others, the simpler and safer solution was to disable that until a fix was made for the emote. I highly doubt Bungie would risk deploying a hotfix for an issue like this during an event that already has a built in loot cap contingency anyway.
But time will tell if I am proven wrong, certainly at least some possibility they will hotfix it though I highly doubt it.
I doubt there is a limit, but they might only stack to 999 and then start a separate stack? I farmed over 1000 DO tokens but I never opened my inventory so I don't know if they were all in one stack or 2 stacks with one being 999.
