All those predictions that TFC wouldn't win the shield because they'd be too focused on CCL were very much on the mark. :lol

Royer will miss every chance but BWP will be gifted a goal on a bad pass back (probably from Vincent)

Royer takes a bit to get going, he'll be killing everyone by the summer. Kaku is being let off the chain tho, Jesse finally let him run wild.

Great back-and-forth match between ATL and NYCFC, looking forward to their next matchup

Metro Twitter noticed that, despite what Jesse and the league said, we were using the 4-2-2-2 against Montreal for essentially the first hour. I figured we'd move into it eventually, but not this soon.

RBNY gonna reach that final form by the summer. MLS beware, don't sleep on us.

Don't sleep on the SKC versus Chicago game earlier on this year, too. Firmly in the top three along with yesterday's NYCFC v ATL match and El Trafico

NYCFC Stadium Plans revealed: https://newyorkyimby.com/2018/04/ex...-million-harlem-river-yards-mega-project.html. A part of a big mixed use project with an estimated cost of $700m (kind of cheap to be honest) with the design from Rafael Vinoly. Planned completion date of 2022.

The partnership is comprised of Related, Somerset Partners, and the New York City Football Club, which would be the occupying team for the new stadium.

The affordable housing component would come with a 25,000 square foot medical facility in the base, as well as major amenities for the neighborhood's children. Up above, there would be approximately 550 affordable and workforce apartments created.

NYCFC also want a huge amount of money to build the stadium.

I seriously doubt they get it.

That stadium could be a lot worse. I just don't want to have to watch soccer in yankee stadium anymore.
The area is getting built up and everything is worth quite a bit more each and every year. The city would lose a lot of cash if they went along with this plan. I'd like it if RBNY didn't have to worry about players getting injured at that embarrassment of a field every year, but I wouldn't put money on this plan right now.

Phew. Toronto really needs some goals because of that away goal rule. They can't just settle for a draw here.

Altidore sick? Man, we are having no luck throughout this entire tournament. Don't think we've had a 100% lineup at all.

TFC looking much better after that first mistake. Glad Chivas isn't just parking the bus. We should be able to score at least one more.
