Saying not everyone will agree with one true definition on a concept as malleable as masculinity is bold?, people cant even agree 100% on what feminism means, also I never said I had a solution I was basically just saying don't be a jerk or live your life according to one set of preconceived notions and you'll probably be ok.

Don't be a jerk doesn't really work because part of toxic masculinity is failing to acknowledge the problematic behavior that masculinity encourages.

I'd imagine the mysoginy claims stem from multiple female posters saying that they are uncomfortable with the word bitch and him repeatedly stating how little he gave a fuck because he faced no consequences for it IRL as his friends group gave him a pass to say it

there may be a mainstream movement to examine the differences between toxic masculinity and regular masculinity but it probably won't be some grand thing that everyone across all cultures agree on 100% like anything else that open ended and personal is what I meant, and I think that maybe while not everyone knows when there being a jerk most people do, they just rationalize it as being a ok thing to do by hiding behind things like masculinity and a hundred other excuses.
