I'm guessing Lethal Weapon, Lucifer or Scorpion.

Star -- No important men on the show, so they could just toss out the problematic person.
Chicago Med -- Who on that show can't be replaced?
Prison Break -- Nah. They are currently not working on the show so it can't be a new thing.
Blacklist -- If James Spader is a problem, he would have been already for years. He keeps getting high profile shows so I don't think it is him.
Good Girls -- No important men on the show, so they could just toss out the problematic person.

For the Blacklist thing, I checked around and found the Rolling Stone article I remember reading way back when.

"...I was out pacing on the phone for two hours. This stuff keeps him up at night. He can dig his heels in. The conversations can be frustrating."

The shit hit the fan when Spader got a two-part script in which the secret FBI black site where Reddington meets his handlers is invaded by assassins aiming to kill him. "I called up the writers, and I said, 'You understand the collateral damage of this, correct?'" Spader says grimly. "'You understand this is a game-changer. You're burning down this house! This means there's a terrible security issue for Reddington. How do I go back there? How do I trust anyone moving forward?'"

Maybe it has something to do with the fact we've killed three beers each in the past 90 minutes, but Spader seems genuinely worked up, like a fictional character's safety is literally a life-and-death issue. He's collecting a paycheck, so why on Earth would he care so much? "Because I have to perform it," he says, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. Though the writers had other ideas, Spader insisted, and so episodes were rewritten, schedules rejiggered, network executives inconvenienced all so that Red could don a yarmulke and hide out in a synagogue for a few episodes, until he could smoke out his betrayer.

It's definitely a guess, but maybe he's not happy with how the plot is going and is digging in like before. I haven't watched since season three, though, not sure what's been going on recently.

Hahah... I mean, I can see how Spader would be hell to work for/with, but at the same time, being known as an actor who turns around and says "I care because I have to perform it" isn't the worst reputation to have. And at some stage (Season 2? 3?) he got an executive producer credit, so he's not just some small bit-actor not understanding his role in the show and throwing his weight around.

What a weird week for (kind-of) geeks on TV - Neil Gaiman guest-starring on The Big Bang Theory, and a Jonathan Coulton song on The Good Fight. :o

(Gaiman wasn't bad - not on screen for long, but a good dead-pan face when talking about his 1602)

That's true. And based on that story, it was justified why he was pushing for something else. I'm probably super wrong, haha.

I don't like myself for watching Roseanne, but I started doing so on premiere night and am enjoying it. I still need to watch last night's episode. I ended up going with 30 minutes of sleep instead of watching it early this morning.

I'm able to separate people's beliefs from their shows for the most part. You kind of have to.

Since when is Roseanne supposed to be a PC white collar show? It's always been non-PC blue collar. If you've changed and the show hasn't, that's on you. I'm liberal as they get and I really like the show. It feels like old Roseanne, and my childhood. I'm from middle IL, so it really hits close to home.

Living Bibically (CBS) has been pulled from the schedule "indefinitely," which strongly suggests that the first-year series will be canceled.

Good.

I know one person who watches Scandal and she has been upset with the quality of this season. Supposedly the finale was no better.

Looks like Champions is probably gonna be cancelled too.

The teaser video for season 2 of "american vandal" was focusing on a prep school right? or some kind of honor society?

So disappointed about Ash vs. Evil Dead. One of my favorite shows of the past few years. Just seems like it couldn't really get enough good word of mouth.

Just saw a trailer for something called Superstition... I can't tell if it's in "So bad it's good" territory, like Zoo, or if it's just bad bad.

I assume it's bad bad? I'm a huge suck for supernatural shows.

I liked the first season of Ash vs. Evil Dead, but then somehow lost interest in following it. I probably would've preferred a new Evil Dead movie with Bruce in the cast.

What will end first? Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS or the known universe?
NCIS, it's pretty much dead already with Abby leaving, none of the new characters added in the last few years come close to the ones who left. I wouldn't be surprised if season 16 is the last.

Grey's has a few years left, Supernatural will never end.

The ratings for NCIS have definitely dropped over the years (more than some of the other network shows), but imo they still need to cancel LA and New Orleans first. Plus the fact that they don't have many longtime regulars probably means it's cheaper to make.
