I was busy, so I didn't catch most of the Royals' games today. It's kinda funny how we only used two pitchers in each game with Hammel going 9 IP and Junis going 8 IP. That first game with Hammel going looked like a missed opportunity with the offenses (10 LOB) and Hammel going 9 with 2 runs giving up and not getting a win out of the situation... *sigh* At least we won the second game with Junis being pretty good and offense scoring enough runs to get to Herrera for the save.

Blowout, loss in extras against the best team in the NL.

Better than anyone thought we would be.

The Mets really tried to give this game away early on but the BP was lights out and saved the day. GG.
