If they finish their game first it'll be a while until we see what Valve wants to do with the CS guys. Could be VR could be something else that's a bit more story driven.

I haven't checked in a long time, but it was always weird how threads on the GB forums are locked to games. Also, back then the discussions just weren't good. GAF was bigger, had more knowledgeable people and great OTs. All of this might've changed by now, no idea.

edit: Just checked and doesn't appear to be very active.

I've never really seen an appeal to posting on the site directly; if I want to post on a smaller forum too I'll just go to Waypoint's more

frankly the wider GB community isn't always that great and I'm not rushing to interact with all of it when at least here I know who I'm talking to

I think the last time I posted there was during the Ryan Running of the Lanterns controversy and there were a lot of people saying shit like "He shouldn't have to apologize", "He didn't mean it like that", "It doesn't mean that anymore", "B-b-b-but South Park!", etc.

I like having one big thread for stupid, relaxed discussions instead of opening a new thread every time I come up with a hot take. I don't mind the GB forums, I just prefer one big thread for everything GB related, even if that means I have to put up with wrestling from time to time

I put in a regular Blu Ray in my PS4 pro. Does the pro uprez it to 4k? Or does it force the TV to change the resultion down to 1080p?

Your TV will upscale it. Provided your TV has a good scaler, and pretty much most modern sets do, it will look just as good as watching the blu-ray on a 1080p screen.
