Also, since I see other people also had issues getting Terranigma to work, I just got it working with the newest all-in-one patch on reddit, without audio issues. The method posted yesterday (font patch + NTSC patch + standalone Canoe patch) always gave me sound errors; apparently the issue was that you needed to remove and re-add a header midway through.
When I tried using those i had massive lag of at least 2 seconds. I am on the latest firmware. Any ideas how to fix?
Can I have more info on that said patch? Looking forward to play that game for the first time on my snes classic.
No idea, both my sf30 and retro receiver are on the latest patch and never felt any kind of lag yet. Same thing for one of my coworker who also have one.

Just apply it with LunarIPS or whatever onto the proper Terranigma ROM and it should work fine.

I'm thinking that if one changes the -snapshot-period to something very large, you could create a pretty long demo without taking up a lot of space (since inputs take much less space than a savestate).
What's the deal with using this patch on an ntsc patched rom? Any problems?
Have you tried literally going back and forth between the wired and wireless controllers? Its the same?
I tried using that patch directly on the Spanish PAL ROM but it messed it up pretty badly (and for some reason reverted text to English).
I have no clue but the sequence is pretty delicate so it's possible that it might mess up something if it's already NTSC-patched.
Someone over on GAF asked about an Amazing Spider-Man: Lethal Foes boxart, I didn't do it that day and then the forum was down but I might as well post it here.
I'd already edited it down and it might not be the style many are using but it might be some use to somebody.

Ah, perfect. Got Terranigma working properly with this patch. It's an all-in-one for NTSC conversion and then the Canoe fix. No audio errors at all!
(I also used uCON64 to fix the checksum, but I don't think that's important at all, I just like it that way)

It's very difficult to permanently brick your SNES Classic. As long as you read through the instructions and don't go off-script, you should be fine.
I'm new at applying patches to SNES games, how do I apply this to my Rip?
I personally used Lunar IPS. Though there are other programs people swear by, this one did it for me.

Reasonably happy about everything except Young Merlin, which never released in JP and from what I can see never got any kind of decent artwork anywhere. My own uk copy has hideous artwork that has nothing to do with the game, and the US one just has a giant ugly logo, and I can't see any adverts for it that don't suck. So my Young Merlin SFC cover is the drizzling shits. :/

It was my one big want, and possibly the last remaining BIG holy grail, and now it's working.. I feel a bit lost. There are other littler games to sort, sure, but Terra-bloody-nigma!
Shit I had no idea Spiderman Lethal Foes existed. Youtube gameplay reminds me of the Genesis version which I loved as a kid. Will definitely download this!

Thanks ROBIN...do you know if it fixes compatibility short of doing Retroarch on fan translations? I still can't find a working copy of Marvelous.
Lots of compatibilty additions but most importantly fixes that:
a) stop your SNES Mini from overheating and
b) stop your SNES Mini from destroying its NAND

Yeah, there's no problem doing that.
Be sure to do "Flash Custom Firmware" again if you're coing from something like b or c.
