Look at the history of Namor's film rights on Wikipedia. There were so many different people attached to it over the years that getting him untangled is gonna take some work, and there's almost certainly somebody holding out for a big payday to let it go since the MCU has exploded.
IIRC, it was actually broken by Variety in October of 2014, only a few weeks before the official announcement. Maybe it was rumored earlier and I'm forgetting, IDK.
I doubt it, if only because surely not every female superhero movie is set in the past.

I never wanted a Black Widow but if it's got Winter Soldier in it I may get excited. Clint showing up would be cool too.
I'm still skeptical about a Black Widow movie, at least as a theatrical release, but maybe Marvel Studios will find a way to justify spending $180 million or so on the character, idk

The Fox deal? Technically it doesn't close til summer 2019 I think.
It wasn't going to happen (outside possible credits scenes and such) before 2021, so I don't see any reason to make a big deal of this.
Sometime between December of this year and June of next year, anyway. But it'll also take time even after that to fully integrate Disney's operations with Fox's.
Anyway, my best guess for the timetable is something like this:
2020: Credits scene or Easter egg-level tease
2021: At least one X-Men/FF character shows up in a supporting role, i.e. Storm in Black Panther 2 (not saying that specific example will or should happen, just that it's the sort of thing I'm talking about)
2022: Actual X-Men and/or FF film(s)
I agree that Feige is probably being less than truthful here. Seems implausible that they haven't been doing any internal planning for the Fox/Marvel properties at all.

Any question about the X-Men or F4 at this point is just a waste of time for everyone involved.

It's for a play. I get the sense that Evans is sick to death of these movies.
I don't expect anything FF4/X-Men until 2023, and I would be fine waiting even longer. Just want them to flesh out all our current franchises and add some smaller properties here and there like Widow, Eternals and Nova. And then have FF4/X-Men to be excited for for the phase after Phase 4.

I do not envy those who host these red carpet events, having to fill time between celebrities with awkward banter.
