Rewatching Iron Man 1, just about finished it.

This movie reminds me that I miss the old actor who played Rhodes.

Kevin Feige on the Namor issue:

With the Disney/Fox deal, if that pans out, with the Sony rights sharing deal with Spidey, the one big loose end, then, is Namor and Universal. Can you tell us what the status of that is? Is there any chance for him to just pop up in an MCU film? It just sounds like an incredibly complicated situation, for one character.

It is. I think there's a way to probably figure it out but it does have — it's not as a clean or clear as the majority of the other characters.

Feige on Fox characters joining the MCU:

When asked if the Disney/Fox deal complicates plans for the upcoming MCU Phase 4, Feige paused and said:

"No, because any of that deal would take a while to get going and years from whenever and if ever it happens. So, certainly it won't impact the five movies we've announced, and it probably wouldn't impact anything for a handful of years after that. Because really, we're not thinking about that. We're thinking of delivering on what we promised. Any movie, especially for any characters we don't have the rights to yet until someone tells us we do, would be even further after that."

Looks like we'll be waiting awhile for the FF and X-men.

The Fox deal? Technically it doesn't close til summer 2019 I think.

Sometime between December of this year and June of next year, anyway. But it'll also take time even after that to fully integrate Disney's operations with Fox's.

Anyway, my best guess for the timetable is something like this:

2020: Credits scene or Easter egg-level tease
2021: At least one X-Men/FF character shows up in a supporting role, i.e. Storm in Black Panther 2 (not saying that specific example will or should happen, just that it's the sort of thing I'm talking about)
2022: Actual X-Men and/or FF film(s)

I agree that Feige is probably being less than truthful here. Seems implausible that they haven't been doing any internal planning for the Fox/Marvel properties at all.

Ive not seen a lot of Evans during this publicity tour, it's probably because he looks like he's about to take out a MAGA hat.

I don't expect anything FF4/X-Men until 2023, and I would be fine waiting even longer. Just want them to flesh out all our current franchises and add some smaller properties here and there like Widow, Eternals and Nova. And then have FF4/X-Men to be excited for for the phase after Phase 4.

I don't want spoilers but I'd like to see how it's received, however, it'll be hard since some assholes are hellbent on spoiling the movie to get likes, views and retweets.
