What makes you guys think this is okay? Most people don't follow set photos or casting rumors. Come on.
Can drop it, all I meant by that was "A4 is not picking up right from where A3 drops off" a la the Harry Potter 7/Hunger Games 3 method. (which would prevent an AoS S6 from making much sense.)

I mean, it's a rumor. It happens here all the time, and we didn't even specify what it was, just our thoughts on it.

Rumour about AoS are not the same as rumours about the movies. I mean the person came into the thread asking if it was safe in here since he didn't want spoilers about IW and then you guys start talking about the IW ending and A4 rumours. There are other threads for that.

On SHIELD and Infinity War: I still think the timeline is confused enough that it's entirely possible the events of the movie (whatever they may be) already happened. There is a built in three month gap where the show doesn't have eyes on Earth at all.

Chloe Bennett said on her Instagram story that two days after the season wrapped, she had to go back and film extra scenes with a "secret person."

Ghost Rider back in the finale? Ward?

They finally getting Tony Stark or Steve Rogers to appear on Shield?
Who am I kidding, we'll be lucky if it's Sif again...

Nick Fury? Haven't seen that guy in a while.

And that explains the Cancel Bear upgrade.

If it's just Chloe, I doubt any MCU cameo. You obviously have to have Coulson involved for that. But honestly, I feel like it would be weird to have a Ghost Rider cameo without Coulson considering the story in the show right now.

Although Gabriel Luna was at the wrap party.

But fuck it, let's go Ward.

They'd still have to address it

They drew Taskmaster exactly like Ward back in 2010.

GRANT FUCKING WARD.

If it's him she's talking about this is the greatest show of all time.

on the timeline ... the agents returned to their own time through the time portal in December 2017 (they left their time at the beginning of season five in May 2017, so they were gone from the world for seven months) and at this point the show is in January or February 2018. So if, and I have no secret spoiler information, I'm just assuming, Avengers 3 takes place in May 2018, all of SHIELD season five should take place before Avengers 3.

Sneak peak for tomorrow's episode:

Knew the second they showed that random Shield agent, that he was going to die. As Mack can attest, black characters are always the first to be killed off in a horror scenario. Double that for a no name character that has never been shown before.

So this is Qovac's attack on the Lighthouse. The Kree do eventually come to have possession of it. The question I have now is: where to the bugs come from?

I have absolutely no idea how this show responds to the events of Infinity War if they are renewed.

I need it renewed just to see how they manage to pull it off.

Wow.

La la la, a bunch of us haven't seen the movie yet.

Anyway, personally don't care if they don't reflect it, the show is great and that's all that matters. The MCU connections haven't really mattered since Fury at the end of S1.
And that's totally okay.

I'd say you're probably safe from getting spoiled on Infinity War by SHIELD this week, but I could see a tie in happening on the last episode. Go see the movie sooner rather than later, but it doesn't have to be today.

I haven't seen Infinity War, so I don't know what happens that'll make it so impossible for another season to have happen. But we're talking about a show that features time travel, virtual universes, and other worlds. I'm sure they could do something.

Hell, have the cast go back in time to when season three was happening and save Ward from being killed by Coulson. Boom, they don't have to deal with Infinity War, just regular Ward. Could even reuse some of the old footage. Disney should hire me, I'm too talented to have my thoughts become nothing.

Also not that IW was originally suppose to air mid may so yeah the tie in episodes wouldn't happen if it were to happen this week anyway.

I hope they do a tie-in, of any sort, it'd be awesome to continue IW just like the series did with WS
That tie-in only worked so well because at the time the movies were taking place in roughly real time according to their release dates. That isn't always true now, especially for Infinity War and its yet-to-be-titled followup movie, which were both filmed simultaneously. If SHIELD gets another season, nearly all of it will air before the next Avengers movie; if the gap between the two movies doesn't line up with real time, then there's pretty much no way the same sort of extended tie-in can happen.

IW very likely occurs in real time, and next year's Avengers probably will, too
