One thing I liked about this episode is that it really conveyed the Martian threat to Earth in a pretty substantial way that hadn't been communicated before, with the the first strike stealth platforms surrounding Earth.

Just caught up. I didn't expect the nuke. If that happened in the book I totally forgot about it. Fucking Errinwright making Anna feel responsible...

Alex's message from home was rough.

God damn this show is so stellar.

* I loved how Avasarala went straight to business explaining everything. I get annoyed by shows where characters unrealistically withhold information
* The implications of 2 million dead (at least)...jesus what a nightmare
* Errinwright definitely is slimy, but I don't think he deliberately orchestrated the "miss". He's absolutely responsible for starting the war in the first place, and he's absolutely taking advantage of the situation, so he's still culpable overall, but I don't think it would be possible for him to carefully orchestrate one specific nuke getting through

Yeah, I appreciate the vision The Expanse paints of Earth having population and AGW issues and just dealing with them like it's normal.

I was afraid the budget took some cuts, especially the space battle in episode 2 didn't look as nice as in season 1 or 2, but this scene in this weeks episode looked really neat. I like how we see the missile defence system in action.

This entire scene is just breathtaking. It just gives you chills knowing the implications and lives that that one missile impacts as it casually speeds towards Earth with nothing able to stop it

It sucks that The Expanse is the best out there. I want to watch something similar to it but I can tell none of them will scratch that itch and I'm counting BSG in this.

Yeah. One of the few things that hits some of the same types of notes is Babylon 5 since it's got its amazing pre-planned multi-year story arc.

Well nevermind they def dumping the commercials now. Seems they make the first 20 mins minimal. Alright eps so far. Really miss Thomas Jane.

That ending...jesus, This show just doesn't stop being great. I got my friend into it too, she's liking it so far but still in season 1.
