If this season has taught me anything it's that Paper Boi is the real hero of this story. Earn ain't getting shit outside of more L's.
Before this episode I was thinking that Earn was secretly an amazing manager (but looked like a shitty one to the viewer) and Al was the one holding things up. Saying no to deals, etc. In the first few minutes of this episode that illusion immediately vanished. Earn just sucks. He might have good intentions, but he sucks.
What's even funnier is that Earn set up them staying at that crazy girl's place to save money on a hotel, and then Al just gives Tracy $200 to be his security. Tracy didn't even ask. That shit was ice cold.

That frat scene is so weird. Never did get why people would degrade themselves, because hazing initiations are probably something similar to that scene and people just go ahead with it.
Love this season. It blends comedy with surreal moments into a artistic blend, it just works.

I mean Tracy is a complete shit lord but I knew Earn was out of his depth.
It's refreshing for an American-made show to have a flawed protagonist in Earn. However, with how busy his actor has been with Hollywood, and the resulting reduced screentime this season, I wonder if they're moving towards an Atlanta without the character. The story is certainly headed in that direction currently.

Yeah I feel this. I sorta don't want him to get fucked over, but something has got to happen to him. Like Drake comes looking for that jacket and lightly hits him with a invisible car.
I can see the metaphors for lots of things stolen in the episode but most of them have been spot on on and not metaphors.
Maybe the cops took the piano away from Darius as evidence could be considered stolen.
Im fine with the Perkins episode not having the stolen motif in it tho... it's definitely an outlier of the season and as such doesn't need the motif.
As for the recent episode... I wonder if this is like based on a true story when Glover was touring when he was small time.
Tracy's not a mean dude. He's loving life. He didn't want to fight Earn and went easy on him. Didn't boast about whoopin him in the car none either. Good guy Tracy.

Teddy's plan to justify shooting Darius was to pretend he was a robber (IIRC). Nothing got stolen but still goes nicely with the theme.
