Good hold for Kratos. Hope this encourages more publishers to invest in single player games. Do we have any idea of the drop from week one, which as I recall was in the region of 90k sales?

Edit, okay I see people have said -35%. So that should make its week 2 sales around 62k? Which puts it slightly under Horizon's first 2 weeks, which came in at 160k I believe.

Holy shit, I didn't even notice that! Presumably the small but dedicated audience showed up to buy it on launch and now there's not many people left to buy it. Launching the same week as God of War was probably a really bad idea.

Labo did about all It could in a hostile environment for a luxury purchase.

Current spending climate in the UK is not very good, the masses are tightening their belts due to economic uncertainties in the near future.

I don't expect Labo to gain any traction here as it will be considered a luxury purchase, it could possibly be purchased as a gift or be a bargain deal during holiday seasons sales.

Yeah this is my takeaway from seeing the UK market too. Even more price sensitive than it was before.

As far as the UK goes, Yakuza is still niche but with a strong cult following who will buy the game day one. A large drop was inevitable.

Amazing (but unsurprising) performance for GoW.

It's hardly a 'luxury purchase'! It's the middle of term time. When school break up for holidays, Labo will pick up. And then it will (possibly) sell gangbusters as we edge towards the Christmas season.

True, same can be observed in the Japanese sales. Not at all surprised by it myself: the Variety Kit seemed to offer the most value, and in my honest opinion the Robo Kit just looked like one of the projects in the Variety Kit in the announcement trailer (albeit a better one than each single project in the variety kit) until they revealed that it was standalone and more expensive to boot. The Robo Kit just isn't nearly as good a value proposition, and sales reflect that.

It had a huge launch, I think over 100k. Second week drop was obviously much sharper than GOW's.
