I just can not wait to see how the MCU would interpret the X-Men costumes. Wolverine has one of my very favorite costumes, but to translate it will be challenging.

Anyone have a theory or concept?
Perhaps they'll take a cue from Alex Ross.

But how would they justify that?

The X-Men uniforms will totally be closer to the Captain America Age of Ultron look and NegaSonic's from Deadpool. Base blue/yellow undersuit where needed, with exterior flare pieces to separate them out. The blues/blacks/yellows should all match across the entire team. I doubt Wolverine will look like the Alex Ross image above, but he probably won't be as muted as he was in the X-Men movies. I could see more of his 2nd X-Men: Evolution look for him (but maybe with the mask?).

If it were me I would just militarize their costumes. Same primary colors muted and design styles, but merged with fatigues , armor, and combat boots. They should go out ready for combat, like guerillas.

The only part of Wolverine's costume, that might not translate that well would be his "Wingmask", which they will at least partly subdue, i think. The female characters will get their outfits, that don't make them look like strippers. So expect this:

instead of this:

Whatever they do, I'm sure the Marvel costume department will knock it out of the park. I've loved pretty much every costume in the MCU. I think they've done enough by now that they know what works for the actor while bringing in the colors/patterns/iconography that the fans love and will appreciate.

Looks great. We've come a loooooong way from being ashamed of colors in 2000.

Does Peter have the black eye at the beginning of Homecoming when he's talking into his camera describing the airport fight? Cause I just remembered the tag for Civil War where he has a mark around his eye due to Steve "bullying" him. If he doesn't, then tsk tsk Sony. That's another continuity error your people missed (along with the 8 years thing... which we now know is even more BS since Tony stated it's only been 6 years since the first New York attack).

Sony? Marvel produces the film internally just like they do the rest of the MCU. Sony just pays the bill and distributes.

I was in a retail store yesterday and i was thinking in buying an Avengers movie memento. This week was a blast,10 years waiting and i watched the movie twice with friends.
Not a guy who buys toys, statues or memorabilia. But i want something..

Couldn't find any toy that i like. All have ugly faces lol. any suggestions? Is there any Lego's infinity war or something worth it?

There are a few Infinity War Lego sets varying in price and size. I'd say get the ones that have your favorite characters.

When do we change the OT to connect it was Ant-Man/Wasp?

"We Were Tiny."
"Where We Compare Sizes"

I've seen enough concept & fan art throughout the years. I would prefer the brown suit but the yellow would be fine too. The mask is a must though, just don't overdo it with the "ears".

You think Starlord will ever get back his celestial powers?
I really want him to. Even just a fraction would work. I feel like he's too weak. He can't take a beating and he can't give anyone a beating either. He just has two average guns. Even Rocket has better guns.

No I don't think so, and I like him the way he is. He could hold his own against Ironman for a while after all. Just like with Widow and Hawkeye, I don't want every hero to be a juiced up supersoldier or enhanced to the point they can lift buildings with their mind.

He could use his elemental gun tho'

I'm thinking, in that lull between Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel, that I'm gonna consume a whole bunch of comic books. Already digging into some Thor, Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man stuff.

he won't but he should be more like his comic counterpart (the abnett lanning one) where he is almost a tactical genius and his tech and combat knowledge shines through

Well Gunn went for a completely different direction

Read Jonathan Hickman's Avengers run if you haven't already.
I'm 300 pages into his Infinity run (Avengers, New Avengers, Infinity) and have lost interest. It's too overwhelming with all the larger-than scenarios and hundreds of characters and concepts. I'm planning on starting from his first arc (Shield I think, leading into Fantastic Four etc.) and then going through it from start to finish. But as a standalone event, I'm not feeling Infinity too much.

I really like Infinity but it's a bit of a side story to the larger Avenger/New Avengers story that runs into Secret Wars.

I do think his Fantastic Four run is a bit more accessible (and is really awesome in its own right). I love his Avengers run for the concepts and the sheer epicness, but FF manages to have a degree of warmth that is missing in Avengers while still being epic as all hell.

Secret Warriors is cool and does link a little with the larger story he is telling. If you like spy stories then its a really good one and it was part of the inspiration for Winter Soldier (film). SHIELD is also pretty damn neat and is finally, after years supposed to see the final two issues published this month.

I think Hickman's FF is the definitive Fantastic Four run. If they never made another Fantastic Four comic again I think it'd be just fine; Hickman's run is like the perfect bookend to Lee and Kirby's work.

I'm just waiting for a Marvel-wide sale on Comixology and then I'm gonna jump on Hickman.

Uhmm pretty sure almost all of Hickman's marvel stuff was just on sale there?

Also only reding infinity as an event without the whole backdrop of the run doesn't work.
I noticed the sale but his Fantastic Four and FF stuff wasn't part of the sale so I post-poned me buying the rest of his stuff. Waiting for the next sale.

That is why I'm starting from the start next time around. Right now, I just wanna read my Thor and GotG comic books.

Wait- did you not red Avengers 1, New Avengers 1, etc? Instead just started with Infinity and the related tie-ins? If so then, yeah, I can see not enjoying that.

I can't read everything at once, so Annihilation is on my to-do.
And this is the Infinity that I own. I knew I were missing stuff going into it, and I had limited time in the lead-up to Infinity War, so decided to push it back and start over from Hickman's earliest later (got the reading guide at home).

So now, I'm gonna lean back and enjoy some Thor and Guardians (already got recommended arcs from the Comics OT), as I'm in no mood for big crossover events at the moment.

Thor hopefully the godslayer arc etc? Guardians hopefully nothing done by Bendis.
I stopped visiting the comic ot on the old site because a clique thinking was present there.

Yeah, that Infinity doesn't work well as a standalone. You definitely need to set aside a fair chunk of time if you want to get into Hickman's Avengers stuff.

Which Thor did you get? God Butcher?

Yeah, I'm reading the God Butcher arc currently. And I'm going from there through several arcs. And wow, is the art something else. I'm really loving it. Right now I'm only an issue in, but I'm wondering if past Thor is using the Jarnbjorn or the Stormbreaker. I imagine it's Jarnbjorn since I read somewhere that Stormbreaker is Beta Ray Bill's weapon.

When it comes to Guardians, I checked out the first issue of the latest arc and enjoyed it, but figured I would start with Bendis' arc because I really liked the art and what I read of the sample pages. Figured I would just go through both series. Maybe even the 3000-stuff later on, I just happened to love the art and what they set up in these two latest series.

Esad Ribic is on another level. Thankfully Aaron's Thor run had some really great art throughout even when it's not Ribic. If you eventually make it to Hickman's Secret Wars you have some more fantastic Ribic art awaiting you.

Agree on the art in Bendis-era Guardians. Unfortunately I don't care for his take on the characters. The DnA version is what inspired the movie and I think their take was a lot better.
