That would make sense, given that a potential Season 6 would likely be about
The reformation of SHIELD in the time between A3 and A4

Nah, look closer at those A4 set photos.

Stark is wearing a SHIELD uniform ... but it's alongside Cap and Thor in their Avengers 1 designs. Cap is in his silly outfit, Thor has long hair. There's an image of Loki in the handcuffs/mouth gag from the end of the film as well. The "Tony as SHIELD" thing is likely going to be either time travel or an alternate reality.

Out of all, the Arrowverse, Arrow is the only show I dont watch.

I watch almost every Marvel TV whether it be Fox or ABC.

holy crap baskets i love Legion

I miss Legends and Black Lightning deeply. Everything else sucks.

And Legion is alright, Season 1 was much better thus far however.

The A4 spoilers
is definitely our timeline. Old Stark and all
On the Avengers 4 writers thread people keep saying that
all of the deaths were permanent and rest of Avengers are just gonna use the heroes from other timeline to either defeat thanos or change his mind to undo the snap.

I was just looking at info on the new Ant Man movie after seeing the trailer, and had a thought. A week or two ago, someone here mentioned that Chloe filmed a scene with some secret guest after the season 5 wrap up party. Considering that Ant Man and the Wasp takes place right before (and possible during) Infinity War, I'm wondering if it might be a character from that film, specifically Randall Park, who is listed as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in that movie. He also stars on ABC's Fresh Off the Boat, so he might be an easy get for the show.

That is a pretty damn good guess.

Looks like the IW tie-in info is coming from a random Adrian Pasdar interview where he mentions more tie-ins are coming later in the season.

I'd recommend against watching the final 2 eps live without watching IW first or getting a heads-up from someone in the thread that nothing got spoiled. (If you care about such things)

I'd figured that there would be a possibility of the tie in happening more likely during the season finale just cause it would seem right

it's gotta be

the ring ship showing up and the first fight
Yeah.

There's a thematic tie in this season that's pretty clearly the season's true IW tie in.
Save 1 vs Save the world. That moral choice comes up over and over and over in the movie.
Oh yeah, they do totally share this.

Infinity War:

I'm 100% sure they'll tie in at the end of the season - probably as a cliffhanger - but whether that's in a general sense (random dudes fade away, the main cast survives) or in a hardcore way (1-2 major characters fade) is yet to be seen.

If they're cancelled they might just leave us with a happy ending, though.
Agreed.

Curious if they do one more small one and keep anything bigger to the last ep. Feels like it'd be worth seeing the movie at least before the season finale just in case now that they've done that very minor call out.

Jed Whedon directing the finale is amazing news. For anyone not aware, the first and only episode he has directed other than the upcoming finale was the best episode in the series: season 4's "Self Control."
Nice!

It would be such a great troll if the season was resolved by main baddie whoever it is by the end is dusted by thanos snapping.

I'm glad they yanked Talbot away from Supergirl for this half of the season. He's such a good character.

Talbot actually kinda looks like Franklin Hall/Graviton from the comics with the beard and unkept hair, although he had long hair I believe.

Definitely never expected Talbot to be such a key player, but that's part of the reason why I love this show so much. It goes in some crazy directions lol

The key is to always keep in the crazy guy's good graces until you can act
