Just got the platinum last night, sales are deserved. I sincerely wonder what mp focused developers or publishers think of these types of numbers. Granted mp centric games when done right sell just as much if not more, but with the current state of gaming being "single player games arent worth the investment and dont capture gamers over a long period of time", then you see sales like this and have to partially reconsider that stance.

Dang, I didn't think it would outpace Uncharted. Well deserved! About a month ago I was thinking Spiderman would be a lock for my GoTY, but now I'm having a hard time imagining GoW not taking it.

All the publisher has to do is really one thing - actually give a fuck.

It took them 5 years to make it, why would EA or Activision commit to something like this which has little opportunity to generate continuous income? MS should as an exclusive of this caliber increases the exposure of their console and XGP.

Goddamn. For reference, as last year, God of War 3(which was the best selling), sold 5.2 million in its life time, this should easily surpass that. SSM absolutley deserves this though, they made a great game.

I finally beat this last night. What a glorious game and I had never touched a God of War game before this one.

LOVED the Uncharted's (4, Lost Legacy), Horizon and God of War. Sony just killing it this gen with these 1st party games.
