Man...this game is just boring now. GA is so boring. Just logged on for the first time in a while and after two completely unbalanced yawnfests I turned it off again

No matchmaking, and Maul's saber throw is still broken because nobody at DICE actually plays this thing.

Bout ready to call time of death on my end, this shit is just sad

Picked the game up used today for cheap since all the changes have been made and I'm actually having great fun with it.

I've no idea what's going on with the classes and cards and all, but having a good time regardless.

They had me laugh at "lots of great content".

Limited time modes and reskins is what im expecting. I dont expect new heroes.

We clearly need more skins of Chewbacca, Han Solo, Lando, and the Falcon over new modes and other gameplay stuff.

Probably Emilia Clarke's character is a new hero, couple skins for Han / Chewie / Lando / Falcon, 1 new GA map, 1 new SA map (maybe), and...call it a day?

Since I only started playing, I finally played that MP map set on Crait (?) that was in the Last Jedi. Man, that was an incredible experience, despite losing.

Yeah, if we're only getting 1 new GA map after having to wait nearly 6 months since Crait, think I'm calling it at this point.

What other team-based MP shooters are good these days? Need to just move on from this trash heap :/ Titanfall 2 still alive?

I haven't even been logging in every day for the free arcade credits, and I've probably got more time than anyone here on the game. It's really disappointing.

Season 2 is gonna have to be amazing but given the material they're working with I kinda doubt it? I checked out Fortnite because BF2 was a mess and it's gonna be real hard to get me back on a regular basis from Fortnite now lol

I get that they're probably obligated to do Solo DLC in their contract but I hope the next season is more than that and they bring back the heroes, weapons, maps and modes (supremacy would be a nice change of pace) from the first game. The game just feels starved of content at the moment and bringing back the content from BF2015 just seems like a no brainer.

Double xp weekend!

The line under the hero avatar that shows how far in a level they are doesn't seem to disappear when you hit level 40 now, because of the double xp, I guess the line just counts the normal xp. That won't bother me at all...

This. Jumping in now is probably actually a significantly better experience, what's on offer at this point is pretty good. Most of us on here that are kind of bitter/jaded is because we suffered through the shitty opening months. I still enjoy the game actually, but I'm letting myself be distracted with other stuff until they come out with something compelling to get me back in. Also in my case I've already got all the milestones, everything leveled with 3 epic cards (except hero ships) etc so I've got a better reason to take a break than most.

That said double XP applying to heroes etc and not just your overall rank means I'll be on this weekend. Is the Endor Leia a brand new skin or was it added with the others, I actually have no idea? Only wondering because if it was already up I feel bad for anyone who bought it with either real money or credits and now you can just earn it this weekend lol.

Yep, I definitely wouldn't have spent 40k on the Leia skin had I known it would've been unlockable from a challenge so soon.

Also the line bug I mentioned above sorted itself out after quitting to the menu.

Gonna play some tonight, been enjoying it since I bought it the other month. I really like playing Officer with the S5, can't get away with the bluurg or w/e it's called, but I need to grind out the kills for the burst upgrade.

Just had a game of HvV where Boba kept jetpacking up to an area where nobody could touch him, great fun.

The fact that flash grenades and Leia's alt fire have made it this far without being addressed is just objective proof that nobody at DICE actually plays their own game anymore. So pathetic.

Enjoying the double XP, I don't normally bother playing as Heavy or most Heroes/Villains so it's good to rank them up a little.

I've made use of double xp too, maxed out all heroes at level 40 except Phasma, Bossk and Palpatine, who are 31 currently so have a couple Epic cards anyway.

Also, it's crazy how much better Rey is then Luke and Yoda in HvV.

That's canon though!

Man this game isnt made to have fun at all...

Ive tried to play it yesterday again after weeks/months not playing it. And man the matchmaking is set at "no fun allowed". So many uneven lobbys. And then we have Galactic Assault with its Hero spam issue in last phases. My blood was boiling.

Ive only experienced 1 lobby were both my team and the enemey team were even after that the lobby changed again and the enemy team got all the tryhards again.

God i just want a big gamemode without heroes. Is that so much to freaking ask for?

6 months so far and no good shit happened to this game.

Han Solo season will be another shitshow, i can feel it. They have to freaking to deliver on community requests. Just sucks how EA handled the SW IP so far.
