Royals have finally won a series this year!

They have finally won a series this year... T-T

Missed the game since I went to see Infinity War, but I caught the end and heard some of the highlights like Whit getting three stolen bases along with his two hits, Soler going 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base and Moose having 3 RBIs along with Junis having a good outing on the mound. They have an off day tomorrow which is much needed.

George springer hit 392 for the entire season last year with 2 outs and runners in scoring position.

So far this year he's 0-9. Baseball is weird.

Suck it Seattle. Hope you enjoyed the ShoTime! So glad he didn't choose your org and instead you got your farm traded away and a second baseman in center field. Cheers!

Imagine the shit talking the mariners. Lol no one has hopes for shit.

Why care about a bunch of petty folk booing Ohtani. Just enjoy what you got.

My fiancee and I got super shitty parking so we decided to leave in the middle of the 8th to avoid taking over an hour to get to i5 and needless to say

I want to FUCKING DIE

the game was so damn boring for the longest time. Marco was awful and aside from robbies RBI it was really uneventful. This is the first time weve left a game early but we were a bit salty about not seeing Ichiro, ohtani or even Dee Gordon play lol. We were soaked because for some reason they didn't close the roof despite it pouring (they did later once it stopped tho, gg stadium peeps)

Also we had a weird issue with our tickets where some other people bought tickets online for our seats. We got season tickets that we share though so obviously we won that battle...but we had to miss the first inning and a half to sort it out

Grump grump grump. Dammit.

Oh well. At least they won.
Damn, that is brutal.

Also, today was bad.

The rule is if there is obstruction called and a close play at the plate, you get the run. I understand why the astros are not happy about it, but it's the rule.

They still lost by two, so i don't see how the DBacks didn't win that game even if you want to call bs on that obstruction call.
no, actually, the rule is a judgement call. Meaning, the umpire can *judge* not to do anything, especially, you know when the runner initiates contact.

anyway thats not why they lost. They had opportunities after that to score runs and they couldnt. Springer finished the game as the final out pushing him to 0-11 with 2 outs and RISP. As mentioned earlier he hit nearly 400 in those situations last year.

The astros don't have "it" so far this year. What is "it" you might ask? Last year they were the best in the league in not striking out, this year they are either last or bottom five. Last year, they scored so many runs by simply putting the ball in play, instead of striking out. Their slugging percentage is way down. They were first or second in literally every offensive category this year. This year take away the white sox series and they are bottom 3rd in pretty much every category.

The crazy part is if the offense can even be close to last year, with their starting rotation is easily the best in either league and thats with Keuchel and McCullers off to slower starts, they'll be very damn good.

The best part about the Gleyber homer is the dude traded for him was warming up in pinstripes where the ball landed. Theo Epstein is good people.

This amuses me.
Blue jays - 19-16 6.5 games out of first
White sox 9-23 7 games out of first

effectively the white sox which have 10 less wins are effectively in the same spot in regards to getting to first place in their division :P

lol Halo's shitting on us yet again. Last year's series against them during Edgar's weekend was exactly the same, at least they crush our hopes early in the season, would suck to have the hopes crushed so close to the playoffs or in the playoffs like they'll have happen to them this season.
