Not bad. Fiends drifting apart because they thing they gathered around was replaced is a pretty relatable tale. VR Gunpla just phased out the classical form in this universe. (This still doesn't really confirm whether or not Divers is set in the same universe as the old shows tho.) That said, the show still hasn't fixed the issue of Sarah. She's just there, and hasn't really been given any personality beyond magic Gundam girl. It's grating partially because it feels like she's just there to give exposition, and also because no one in the cast seems to find it odd this character is seemingly always around.

I think she's cut from the same cloth as .hack's Aura character. obv soul of the system and likely to give heroes motivation when the decal dudes compromise the system further and begin affecting her

seems obvious that she will have her arc/plotline in due time and not something that really works as a beginning of the story, more like midseason/endgame, even the way she gave her name was fishy, but our characters seems naive in general so it's not a problem for me

I'm going to drop Piano no Mori, I'm not really feeling this adaptation, it goes too fast and the way it uses the 3D is rather questionable. I'll check out the manga later, though.

Late edition, but it was fantastic. Loved how the kids managed to get a top tier builder into their crew, and also how he wont just give them a god tier Gunpla. I love when hard work and determination pays off.

Lupin the 3rd Part V - 6

Now this I did not expect. As a homage to those occasional wild, DGAF, completely random episodes of classic Lupin, this was faithful to a fault and made with clear love & attention to detail. I'm not generally a fan of nostalgia pandering, but the cheekiness and brass balls involved in interrupting your "proper" Lupin series to revisit this particular style (complete with visual Pink Jacket shoutouts) deserves a lot of credit even if the end product isn't some comic masterpiece. I'm suddenly a hell of a lot more interested in what they're doing with this run of episodes if they're willing to be so experimental.

Butlers x Battles Episode 4

Well we got more battling butlers...except as a contest over who was the better butler, J or Hayakawa. Was a fun time seeing how intense they made butlering but also when the bad girl showed up and tempted J to do some rather unbecoming things, but, he pulled through.

I wish Dracula was more involved this episode. He had the best school festival outfit.

Trying to watch Kaiji:Ultimate Survivor, but god damn the friend is annoying as hell saying "Kaiji-san!" every 5 seconds.

Even for Layton, that was impressively stupid. I don't think I can enjoy this if I'm just waiting to see how absurd The Twist is each episode though. The attempts at heartwarming endings fail if I'm busy thinking how contrived the plot to get there was. At least the length of a Layton game allows the plot contrivances to be spread out a little bit more instead of all packed together.

The main theme of this story (although not during the first run of this new adaptation) is "benevolent monarch vs. corrupt democracy as forms of government".

I mean you could argue that that theme doesn't really kick in until the second half of the old series (or arguably the second third depending on how you look at things)

The characterization of the two fractions was always the weakest point of The Legend of the Galactic Heroes. At many points you couldn't take it seriously at all.

Apparently this weeks episode of FMP is going to be a recap as well? Pretty crazy how two high profile shows this season are having recap episodes so early into the season.

Again, there's a reason I'm saying it didn't really apply until either the second third or second half of the original 110 episode show.

Asta is awful. There are characters I like in Black Clover (I read the manga). Asta is absolutely not one of them. Neither is Yuno on that note

Asta's been pretty adorable in the last two episodes. He's such a Pure Boy that you can't help liking him. I can't, at least.

Ah. Yes. Well. This was bound to happen at some point, better to get it out of the way now, I suppose.

Tsuttsun and Igarashi's relationship really cannot catch a break, though. The second they get past one stumbling block, it's straight on to the next.
