Watch The Bureau (Le Bureau des Légendes), it is the show that has come closest to (tbh, superseding) Rubicon.
It's so freaking good (so good in fact that it was my top pick of last year), it's available on Sundance Now (I think it's even still free?) if you're in the US.
And it has 3 seasons with a 4th one coming this year!
They do this every year. ABC will still wait until the last minute to announce renewals and cancellations. It's extremely aggravating but it's still nowhere near annoying as it was during the Paul Lee days. In those days, we would wait to hear if a show was renewed or not even if it had the highest ratings of the season. I'm so glad those days are behind us.Wow, ABC has been really holding out on some renewals with the updated list.
A man from a bombastic African family who doesn't have a word in their native language for "privacy" and his fiancée from a Midwestern family try to build a normal life together — though nobody can agree what that "normal" means.
Armed with their wits, street knowledge and an undeniable chemistry, private detectives Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro right wrongs that the law can't in the working-class Boston borough of Dorchester. Based on the novel by Dennis Lehane.
Thanks to the detective work of our readers, we might now know which shows CW has ordered to series before they make the official announcement sometime this week.
When a network orders a pilot, they usually create a Twitter account to "book" the handle in case it does get ordered to series. Earlier today, CW updated a few of these accounts with the CW banner and bio. Twitter accounts for Wayward Sisters, Charmed, Roswell New Mexico, In the Dark, The End of the World As We Know it have all been updated, so we think those might have been ordered to series.
The Twitter accounts for Skinny Dip, Dead Inside and Playing Dead are still blank, so looks like those did not get ordered and were likely passed by CW.

Yep! Doesn't matter if it was a long-running show like Grey's Anatomy or Modern Family, the renewals/cancellations would always come on the last day on Friday at 4pm PST.Right! I remember that one of the networks always pulled it, ABC being the one slipped my mind. Were they the ones that always dropped things on Friday at 4pm?

Speaking of slow burn spy shows what ever happened to the sequel to the night manager? Anyone know
If the universe if gonna up and cancel my two fave sitcoms (99 and LMOE) the least it can do is give me more Le'Carre

Not confirmed yet but likely CW pilot orders (via spoilertv)...
The cancellation decision by Syfy is said to be linked to the nature of its agreement for the series, which only gives the cable network first-run linear rights in the US. That puts an extraordinary amount of emphasis on live, linear viewing which is inherently challenging for sci-fi/genre series which tend to draw the lion share of their audiences from digital/streaming.

It will be shopped to other networks.

This right here is why I never watch SyFy. Nearly none of their shows get a proper run or proper conclusion.

That reminds me - has a date been set for the final season of 12 Monkeys?
Well that's a kick in the teeth. Hopefully it won't finish on a cliffhanger, but damn, what a shame.

Speechless just got renewed for a third season, so hopefully more ABC pickups/cancellations coming soon.

June 15. 3 episodes every Friday with a 2 hour series finale on July 6.
Yeah. I'm going they'll pick it up.
Eww gross. I was skeptical of the show, having loved the books, but now I'm outright done. Ahhh who am I kidding I'll probably still hate watch itQuick question on this, as I loved the book- it's my understanding that the future plotline has been dropped with the pilot retool? If so, that's incredibly disappointing as the future stuff was what set the book apart from your run of the mill vampire thing.
Fox picking it up never made sense anyway, since it was destined to be a cable show and FX already had The Strain.
Oh fucking bollocks...Syfy has cancelled The Expanse.
